Tying the Bubble CDC Caddis, one of the best caddis patterns. Simple but very effective because it has all necessary trigger parts to provoke fish strike. It's aerodynamic so it doesn't twist the tippet.
I hope you enjoyed the video, if you did please subscribe, comment, like.......

Very nice Vladimir!! I need to tie up some of these! I like the way you showed how you select the feathers and detail the technique (with good explanations) on how to and how not to apply them. Excellent video! Thanks for posting! Hank

Thank you very much. I appreciate it, glad you liked it. I tried to lower the music volume as you suggested before. Its supoosed to spice the video not ruin it... thank you for that comment too. Cheers. Vladimir

@@Oholisfliesandfishing I noticed that you had lowered music volume, it's much improved - you are soft spoken so quieter is better :-) I am enjoying some of your other videos at the moment - really like your techniques - they are well thought out and implemented. Being "old school" I have my own style of tying but I am always ready to adopt something new if it has merit. Suggestion for your videos if I may: it may be helpful to show the finished fly at the beginning of your video so that the viewers have a mental image of the fly as you go about tying it. I was a college professor (retired now) and found it to be a big help to my students to know where they were going so they could better understand/remember the path to get there. :-) Cheers! Hank

@@hankvana2149 thank you for your suggestions. I have just scheduled some videos that have just that, photo of the fly at the start. I decided to make a decent channel. So whenever i see something good i apply it. Being old school is more than good. I dont like many modern materials. As you can see, mostly fur and feather. And when something new is good i like to give it a try. Ps:you should hear me speaking in person.... not quiet, quite the opposite. Its just that i record with my phone so.microphone is not very good. And my editing skills are just developing. Thank you for all suggestions, appreciate them.

@@Oholisfliesandfishing I am glad that you (formally) have decided to make a youtube channel as I think you have skills and techniques that are well worth watching. I have already shared a link to your home-page with a couple of friends. I am glad to be of help but am guarded with my comments as I don't want to seem too critical. If you would like, you can contact me directly at: hank(dot)vanderaa(at)gmail(dot)com and we can have some discussions off-line.
