Hey lovely people! Thanks for tuning into my latest video. Today I'll be showing you how to achieve a sleek low ponytail on natural hair. We'll be using some long kinky Kanekalon braiding hair to achieve a super cute and stylish bubble ponytail. Tip: try doing two to three bubbles at the bottom first then begin at the top to make it easier

Love the look! How long would you say this style can last? How much do you have to touch it up if you want to keep it through a week or 2?

I usually leave my hairstyles in for a week. I remove the ponytail before bed and just reapply it in the morning and touch up my edges. It’s a great low maintenance hairstyle and you can leave it in for up to 2 weeks

That’s a great question! Sometimes I’ll do the bubbles before applying it but it was easier to do it on my head for the video. I usually remove the ponytail at the end of the day and the bubbles stay in tact when I reapply it

something must be wrong with my hair every time I use edge control or eco my hair reverts back to curls lol it will not lay down. Only thing that lays my edges is got2b glued it’s gel so it works very well.

Your hair is perfectly fine hun! It probably just likes different products lol. You can also try using only edge control because that tends to make my hair revert less

Gels are water-based. Moisturized hair curls and shrinks. Dry hair doesn’t. Try using a wax.

Thanks for asking hun! I always take the ponytail out at night and just reapply it in the morning. I leave the rubber bands on so it’s a pretty quick process

Pro tip: I braid down the middle part of my hair that sticks up in a flat cornrow so my ponytails lay flatter. Once you pull the rest of the hair over that cornrow it's invisible.
