O2 Grow Oxygen Emitters deliver maximum oxygen to your plants roots. Electrolysis with nano bubble technology differs from adding oxygen to the water with bubblers. With bubblers, air from the environment is pumped through the water with a stone or diffuser. The air bubbles float to the surface of the water and burst. This method works much like the air filtering system in a fish tank. However, with this method the bubblers are only drawing in the air we breath, which is 21% oxygen. Pumping the air through the stones or adding more bubblers won’t increase the dissolved oxygen (DO) in the water because the level of DO will be limited by the level of oxygen in the air. In addition, bubblers often draw in warm ambient air from a grow room or greenhouse, which can be counter productive. Oxygen levels decrease when the water temperature climbs above 65 degrees, diminishing the potential to improve plant growth with added DO. While adding “chillers” may decrease the temperature of the water, they also increase energy consumption. And finally, like a fish tank filter, bubblers are noisy and use more electricity than does an O2 Grow nano bubbler.
Dennis Clark, president of the Oxygen Research Group says you can have 2 ppm of dissolved
oxygen coming out of a well and with a bubbler you can get up to 8 ppm. “But what if you got 12 ppm,” he continues. “That’s when you start to notice the difference.” This can be achieved with the nano bubbler technology available from O2 Grow.

Let me try and address some of the questions. These are not designed for aquariums. You will kill your fish. Fish only need 4 to 6 PPM. Bubblers can deliver that. This science is going to go above that by 50 %. Probably in the 12 ppm range. That will probably kill your fishing in a aquarium environment. Don't worry about the hydrogen Gas off. Unless you are trying to capture the hydrogen in a ballon or something like that, it isn't any different than the water evaporating or boiling on your stove. Perfectly safe in any room. The unit should only have to run three hours a day. The emitters have a end of life at around 1600 hours. So if you watered each day 365 days a year the emitters should be replaces at 577 days. a year and a half. A emitter on a 2020 is $39.00. Hope this helped.People are urged to call with your specific needs and questions. 952-474-5820 Dennis Clark / Partner.

Great slogan & interesting product. Looks like you're using ultrasound to fracture the bubbles? I say that just based on your very steep prices. What I do is put an airstone under a ($30) waterjet. The jet pulls in the air, the propeller atomizes it and it stays under the surface even after leaving the current. The mist isn't as fine as yours... but I'm not quite sold on a price vs efficacy standpoint. Your lowest stone is $300 (for 20G). This is 33% O2 as opposed to 20% in air. So 13% more O2. However, all your product should be doing is saturating the water faster. And what you're claiming ("50% more") no offense, sounds like a gimmick. I know science enough to know oxygen is not very soluble in water. It's like 40mg/L at 25C. That's a ridiculously LOW amount of 02. Whether you're using an air stone, a jet, or your highly priced emitter... you can NOT drive O2 dissolution over it's established curve at it's respective temps unless you increase atmospheric pressure. Even with the weight of water factored in there are still basic thresholds that can't be passed. So again, you're device can't add "50% more O2" in a DISSOLVED form. Can it aerate water to the point where the solution just stays saturated more consistently with more undissolved O2? Probably. But is your device resulting in more dissolved O2 then mine? No. Basic laws of chemistry say no. If I'm wrong I'd love to hear what I missed. One last thing. I'm no plant expert. But if the goal is to simply, efficiently & AFFORDABLY increase O2 levels all a person would need to do is add a small peroxide gravity drip feed. The peroxide will enter the water at low concentrations and slowly break down. Starting with nanobubbles that expand and keep the water saturated. So again, in terms of efficacy vs affordability... I don't see the value. From an aesthetics standpoint it looks super cool. From a functional & scientific standpoint I don't see how this can do anything close to what you claimed. If somehow I'm wrong and it magically can, it would be useful to actually show the O2 meter ... especially if your goal is to sell these. You're selling 50% more so please show what you're selling.

+Robert Cece Thanks for the questions. I hope this doesn't get to long. Air hold 21 % oxygen. The rest is Nitrogen. When we talk about % Increase we are talking about the PPM of which Air stones can usually only reach around 8 PPM saturation.It's source of oxygen is the air me and you breath. This science has nothing to do with Air. Sometime bubblers used in grows or rooms are infusing warm air which is a negative result with your DO PPM because anything after 65 water temp is going in the wrong direction. 65 degrees is ideal. This science again has nothing to do with the ambient air. We separate molecules electronically. the oxygen molecule is heaver than the hydrogen molecule therefore can be reintroduced as a pure 100% nano bubble and effectively will raise the DO 50% or at lest to 12 PPM. vs 8 ppm. Our university test of which are posted on our site show and average of 20% increases in seed plants. these are simple test conducted for simple farming techniques. Drain to Waste. Your correct about Hydrogen Peroxide however it's a short lived increase. Only minutes. We like everyones knowledge and input, however we find that most growers haven't spent the money on a Dissolved Oxygen Meter. I would encourage people to invest in that first, then they know what they got before they invest in other devices. Bubblers frankly deliver little oxygen. Why ,because they use ambient air. You could put ten bubblers in a bucket and your O2 PPM will probably not go over 8.5 ppm .A person can add all the venturies, pumps you want. The O2 will not go up. Again there source is only the air we breath. I'll close with this. The closest thing to this science is on a Submarine, and it cost about 20 million dollars. We'd love to have less expensive product, but this is made here in the US. If it saves one plant, it paid for itself.

So in other words, your using the O2 that pre existing in the water, while a stone brings outside air into the water......

+jinno11 The out side air only holds 21% pure oxygen, the separated oxygen molecules we generate through electrolysis are called Nano Bubbles. These are 100% pure oxygen. When they are reintroduced to the same water it raises the DO by 50% or to around 12 PPM. Bubblers can only achieve about 8.5 PPM

Tell me, how your product can affect the ph of the water???
@OxygenResearchGroup
@OxygenResearchGroup 9 жыл бұрын
esta canail This is a good question. The product will not negatively affect your pH. Actually, more dissolved oxygen you have in your water will help the pH levels balance closer to neutral. The process of electrolysis breaks apart the water molecule, the hydrogen bubble is larger and will rise to the surface and dissipate. The tiny O2 molecule is reabsorbed back into the water. So, in this process, the hydrogen is leaving the water in gas form. Nothing dangerous, because it's just a very small amount. Hope this helps!

Oxygen Research Group neutral as in 7? DWC growers like 5.8-6.2 and with the most common form of nitrogen in nutrients being nitrate we release negative ions into the water in turn raising PH. So with this we will get an even more steady ph swing up? Theres more to just sticking two ends of DC into the water and increasing DO. Why are there no videos or images of plants growing with this product? If there is so much research being done how come I cant find one REAL WORLD PLANT GROWING example

Leaf Ericjohnson Hello Eric, Thank you for your question. Because we offer a product that will increase oxygen to many different type of growers who grow different crops and all of which have different methods. It's difficult to have a canned answer for many of the question sent to us. Too many variables. If you're a dirt farmer optimum pH is 6.0 to 6.8. If you are a hydro farmer you are correct, pH of 5.5 to 6.5 is correct. Dissolved oxygen is important to help balance pH. However it does more than that. It helps nutrient uptake, activates organic materials for tea growers and more importantly helps control root rot. There have been many papers written that document all of the above. This is what we know. This product increases dissolved oxygen without the noise of pumps, doesn't blow hot air into you water, and actually can increase DO levels as much as 50% more than a bubbler. In regards to your request for pictures, our clients are only interested in independent research studies, not much in pictures of who knows where and how they were obtained. However, there are pictures on our website www.o2grow.com of the root balls with lavender plants. We had two separate universities conduct control tests with pretty conclusive documentation of root mass or yield increase - we don't claim that the plants are bigger, which may or may not be evident in pictures. Rather the University research shows an increase in root mass and plant yield among a variety of different plants. This documentation is on our website under Research. Additionally, the product we are offering at this time are for small surface water growers or small hydro growers. Regarding DWC systems bigger than 60 gallons we have two devices that are being tested for 120 gallons and 250 gallons. If your system is closer to this capacity give me a call and maybe we can get you involved in some of our DWC testing. 952-474-5820 Dennis Clark
