ok but that happened in the pilot cartoon that Arnold was terrified of bubsy, and in case if bubsy ruined his death by now arnold would decide to commit suicide (and he can do it at any time without the presence of bubsy, otherwise why is it still alive and with bubsy when can he return to his home?). look in the first game sure Bubsy will have understood that Arnold doesn't want to be his assistant so he stopped harassing him and decided to fight the woolies alone. and in the second from there Arnold decided to be his assistant to defeat Oinker Pig who was holding Virgil hostage, but to help Bubsy he had to face his worst fear like THE TRUCK and so he did. and in the last one (which would be paws on fire) now Arnold is relaxed and has a strong bond with Bubsy and less so with the twins, which means that Arnold is ready to face Bubsy's lively adventures. and WHAT THE HECK DOES HYPER SONIC HAVE TO DO WITH ALL OF THIS NOW?!!

Trust Me, I skipped the pilot for them. FAR more entertaining to watch.

The cartoon isn't cringy, just physics is crap at times, a little stupid and annoying but those can be buffed out :)

A Cartoon Test Pilot like this would not air on a Sunday, if it aired in Syndication, it would be so Early in the Morning(7-8), that nobody would catch it.(The Nicktoons first premiered during Sunday Evening August 11,1991, MTV Networks was smart enough to realize, that it was piloting during the Summertime, so kids wouldn't be asleep and getting ready for school the next day) Calico and Accolade wanted the Pilot to run on during the Friday Thanksgiving Holiday Afternoon, because they figured kids like me at the time(I was in 5th grade) would be sitting inside playing with toys,watching TV or playing SEGA or Nintendo or Both while the Parents/Grownups went Black Friday Shopping, thus we'd catch it during the Afternoon. From what vividly remember, The Pilot ran at 4/3 PM(Eastern/Central), I caught it around 3:09 PM CST and changed the Channel to Nickelodeon at 3:14 for the Nicktoons Marathon(A Year before Nickelodoen introduced "Nonstop Nicktoons Weekend" tradition of running Nicktoon Marathons for Thanksgiving Holiday. I NEVER switched back to Busby because it was THAT BAD.

Reggie Fils-Aimé Well, what I'm saying is that little moments or lines in the original creation got cut (the one in Super Bubsy) maybe because of time constraints or something. Don't forget the constant popping pixels/static. That gets really annoying too. :) And you have it burned to a dvd? That's awesome. Because if the upload here for whatever reason gets taken down, you'll still have the original. And it's nice that you want to correct the color errors. There are just so many. It's a miracle if Bubsy's feet doesn't mess up the color (orange top/yellow bottom)within every five frames. XD Seriously, you should consider yourself lucky. Keep it safe, lol. XD

That’s because commercials back then had soul, exciting, creativity and they basically aren’t cringe-worthy as commercial todays. Most commercials today are absolutely god awful and easily cringe-worthy that no one should ever watch this on tv anymore, it’s all just a shitty ass smartphones ads and cringiest dance ads ever.

Yeah, the former may have been a little ridiculous and over the top at times compared to Sonic SATAM which i much prefer overall but this pilot is on another level of badness. Bubsy itself was more or less a game series trying to jump on the bandwagon and be the next Mario or Sonic but didn't do that very well at all, and while the 2D games are halfway playable Bubsy 3D is an absolute travesty and a half that needs no words to describe it's utter mediocrity next to the other platforming games of the time in 1996. It's pretty easy to see why the proposed series went nowhere given how badly this pilot flopped and the whole thing scrapped, i honestly can't see how it would have worked because all i thought was it's "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog on crack" and even that doesn't begin to describe how much it fails in almost every respect as a cartoon show.

@@justinmiddleton8818 Yeah, the jokes I liked were 2, Arnold as a likable character and had a quote that said everything about the pilot: "Bubsy, worse than a truck" & when Bozwell cooks Bubsy and his obnoxious friends when he got his wish, that should've been the best ending ever for animated trainwrecks like Bubsy. But everything else was wrong and it was so bad that I honestly love to watch Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog like I did with Tom and Jerry & Earthworm Jim's cartoon than this piece of nonsensical trash.

@SuperRobotnikJoseph #supereggmanjoseph Indeed, much of the episode was just straight up dumb and annoying to the point that not even the decent voice work from the big name voice actors like Rob Paulsen, Jim Cummings, Pat Fraley and others could save it. The rest just utterly fell flat in execution and i was left shaking my head thinking while watching "Wow!!! this is so bad, no wonder it didn't get greenlit" and as mentioned before it makes AOSTH, be it over the top and corny actually look great by comparison. I can see why the show got scrapped after this pilot aired, because the characters sans Arnold were annoying as hell and i couldn't have imagined that working and being remotely any good whatsoever. At least with Adventures of i can watch it and still watch without wanting to chunk though i personally prefer Sonic SATAM, unlike this which is a special kind of bad that can't be salvaged.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was hilariously over the top, but it knew that there shouldn't be loads of sound effects all over the place, plus Sonic had a great voice done by Jaleel White. Dr. Robotnik is a special mention, being given quite a bit of screentime & given a high profile personality despite being a villain.

That's because it is the same voice actor, Rob Paulsen. Back in his prime in 90s voice overs along with Jim Cummings😎🖒

Did it go wrong?, here's my verdict. Bubsy 1 - it did NOT go wrong, very nice! Bubsy 2 - a few things went wrong, bad physics and mediocre music, but, for the most part, it didn't go wrong! Bubsy In Fractured Furry Tales - It kinda went wrong, the only save is the soundtrack, and some of the background. Bubsy 3D - No surprise, It WENT HORRIBLY WRONG Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back - It did NOT go wrong, it's just lacking depth and length. Bubsy: Paws on Fire - it did not go wrong, but could be better (BONUS) Bubsy 2 GB - It went wrong, but better than Fractured Furry Tales and 3D. This pilot - It went wrong...., sorta?, i don't see it as awful, i see it as "meh"
