Very nice video of this area! A few years ago I saw an interview with the owner of the nice resort you showed us... Prices have stayed high and apparently no problem for most people going there at over 300 USD per night! Thank you so much for showing us this terrific place!

Glad you finally made it to my town. My wife and I have been traveling around Mexico since 2002 and found Bucerias in 2005 and came yearly for a few months then in 2020 moved to Bucerias full time from the Austin Texas area. We enjoyed your video very much and glad you liked the area, next time try other restaurants, many more with better food and lots cheaper than you went to this trip. We always think of you two when we pass through San Louis Potosi on our drive once a year to go see our Daughter back in Texas. Enjoy Mexico. Rosie and Rod

Congrats on the fulltime move. We moved here (San Pancho) in 2018 fulltime from New York City and it's the best thing we have ever done in our lives

Bucerias looks very pretty, love the colorful buildings! I'm surprised at all of the hotels around there, many more than I expected. The sunsets on the Pacific seem to be the best! Nice that you met up with friends.

There are a lot of hotels and condos going in. It didn't seem too take away from the beauty of Bucerias but if you have a car parking would be a nightmare there i think. -Marc

Very nice area that you have highlighted n the video. I will have to add Bucerias to my travel list. Although the snake on the beach had me wondering if I would get in the water. Clearly they are everywhere, I just chose to not acknowledge it for my own sanity!

great video. We've been vacationing in Bucerias since 2010 and it is getting crowded and expensive to holiday there. We are back in 2 weeks for 1 month and we have decided that it will be our last time. Going to explore other areas which hopefully are cheaper than Bucerias.

Agree, just about price itself out as our friend said.....

It is expensive there. More then what we're used to paying in San Luis Potosi. The beach vibe is amazing and there's nothing like seeing the sunset over the pacific ocean. Are you looking soley at beach areas? -Marc

Looks like we should check out next time we go to PV. Loved the colorful resort! I'm all about the colors in Mexico. I hate when they start painting everything white when they upgrade resorts. Nice video guys!

The dried fish: Shovel nose guitarfish or "devil fish". It's a type of ray I think...

All those shops pretty much carry the same things. There are several Farmers Markets in the area that are in my opinion better. That path connects Bucerias to Nuevo Vallarta although not all of it is paved. There are so many rentals and fabulous places to eat in Bucerias (on both sides of highway 200) that there’s no reason to stay in an all inclusive. Restaurants are more affordable outside the Golden Zone.
@TheTwoTravelersInMexico5 ай бұрын
Hi Kate, when we go back we'll have to check out the path. Being thaty it was our first time in Bucerias we really wanted to check out the city. Your right though we say a lot oof the same stuff in the booths. -Marc

@@TheTwoTravelersInMexico i dont live there but go there every year in the summertime i know a little different than most people who go in the winter but i love the summers there. everything is in full bloom .i have been going every summer since 1991.

@@dtg123 Isn't it pretty hot and humid that time of year? -Marc

@@TheTwoTravelersInMexico i like the heat and humidity. When i go in the summer it helps my medical issues i can breath easier and my arthritis pain subsides. the eve rain storms are amazing to watch the lightening spread across the bay. all the plants and trees are in full bloom. the smell of all the flowers is amazing. just plan on going for long walks in early morning or when the sun goes down to avoid the hottest part of the days. it is a little slower pace as well being off season and some of the places to eat close for the season. Bucerias is a great base to stay with so many small towns close by to visit as well .if you want to cool off a bit only a short drive into the mountains and tons of great places to visit as well.never run out of new places to visit since 1991 always try to see a town i have never visited in the area. this summer will be heading to mascota to visit and to Ricon de Guayabitos as well.

@@dtg123 We love the summer rian that we get in Mexico. The storms are amazing. What you're saying about about Bucerias makes sense, it is so close to mountain ranges. Very tropical. Thats a bummer about the health issues but I'm glad your able to find dome relief from them in Bucerias. I think Bucerias is to expensive for what it is. It doesn't offer nearly as much as PV, but the prices there in the shops and restaurants and what the condos are selling for are almost as high as in PV.
@TheTwoTravelersInMexico3 ай бұрын
Bucerias is expensive and there’s a lot of building going on there. For us it had a different vibe the PV. PV has more to offer in terms of conveniences. Great food choices in PV. Bucerias is more Rustic but we like that. Thanks for your comment and sharing your thoughts. -Marc

The fish that you saw is actually a ray and they cut it a certain way and then let it dry out. Over the years they've said it was a mermaid and devil fish crazy but some are so good that they fooled even experts until thoroughly examined 😂
@TheTwoTravelersInMexico5 ай бұрын
Thank you. what your saying makes complete sense. After I read your comment I went back and looked at the photo and can see that it's a ray of some kind. -Marc
