I also think Eddie was young When he met Shannon, that she is The only girl he has thought to have feelings for, only he rather stayed in The army than with her. Don't think he had feelings for Ana either, but he tried to. The only relationships Buck and Eddie has stayed happy with is each other.

Let me make something clear though: I’m all for Buddie. I think its a cute and fun storyline for them to do, HOWEVER, I am also totally down for their friendship to remain platonic! It’s a healthy male friendship that transcends “toxic masculinity” and boils down to two male best friends who are comfortable with one another and care deeply for each other. It doesnt have to be more than that to be beautiful. I think pushing Buddie onto them is pushing the idea that men cant be emotionally connected to one another without it being gay. But, I like when shows give us male relationships like Eddie and Buck or Stiles and Derek. We even see it in criminal minds’ Derek and Penelope. To me, a relationship that exudes love and trust is so much more beautiful when sex has nothing to do with it.
