That's the thing about being a DM: if the group pulls your entire planned campaign off the rails, it's YOUR FAULT. You have to be fluid and very creative in a heartbeat to be a good DM. It was good how Timmy made Greg Myers part of the overall plot to pull Trevor back in and simultaneously introduce Darren's character, though.

I mean, I've been seeing these as skits they'd do. Shitty green screen, cheap costumes and everything. Even Darren dressed like a woman and painted green.

I think the best way would be for them to do a quick and easy walkthrough of it live action, so they can give the video of their expressions and gestures to the animator, that way it feels like it's really them, bouncing back to the web cam angles, when they meta game/OOC. Harmons' Quest style would suit them perfectly, but I would do more a Dingo Doodles style animation to minimize costs because these things are probably just gonna get longer and longer which is standard for Dnd streams, and why so few are animated (most the time they just summarize the story instead of catching it word for word). Personally wouldn't even do color except of certain things like fire, or special moments, and use mostly expressive moments of emotes still frame to still frame, until they got a kickstarter or a loan or something to do something higher quality. The sooner the better, but they need an animator, maybe even a few.

its been said before, but the fact that you guys came together to do all this stuff WITHOUT being asked or forced by fans, etc. is fucking amazing. yall are truly good friends just wanting to have fun. major respect, hope to see more out of this series.
