This is the second video travelling for the Victorian Mountain Series. We plan to visit all the worth while mountains and hopefully save you some time when it comes to deciding where to go.

I was thinking about doing this as my first proper 4wd track as you said any 4wd could do this. Is the easy route still entertaining or should I try some of the more difficult options?

Just wondering, I've got a stock 2020 ranger XLT... reckon it would get up the track?

Under the conditions that we went, you shouldn't have too much difficulty if you choose the easier paths. It can be quite rocky in places so tyres and tyre pressure may be a factor. It can snow up there and a wet track might add a degree of difficulty. Good luck, let us know how you went :)

You seriously can't go a vortex. Noisy and seriously ugly. Very happy with my genuine Toyota sealed correctly 😊

Why the snorkel?

Mainly for water crossings and dust, plus it helps give cooler air to the engine that can help with fuel economy (or so they say). So far we have been lucky enough to navigate through / around them water crossings, however we don't want to be caught out. All it would take is rain overnight and it could make a once passable crossings, unpassable.

What brand suspension did you go? Looking at upgrading my 2022?

Might be a little controversial, but on our previous 80 series and now the Fortuner we went with Pedders suspension. Reason being we have never had and issue, good customer service (we used the same branch) and preformed exactly as promised.

Which track did you take off the main road

The co-ordinates are -37.2980732,146.0943256 - It is the Mt Terrible track off Eildon-Jamieson Road, blink and you will miss it
