I got Bride bucket seats in my BMW Z4 and i would recommend macht schnell floor mounts over those planted ones because the planted ones don't sit directly on the ground and are held by the four corners that aren't as stable, whereas the macht schnell sits perfectly flat. Most BMW enthusiasts would tell you the same thing. Love the seats either way!

Hey Spencer, I want to know if u had any trouble putting on those seat, like the seat air bag light, what u do to take it off, also bracket, did u use the sparco one? If so did u use the oem bolt to mount it or different ones?

Its nice to see you enjoying your car. Seats are a big deal. I wanted to have my comfort and be able to have the best driving position so my car has sliders and semi buckets that recline. I can slide the seat to my licking and also recline the back as well which ti me really dials it all in. That is the ultimate in adjustability to be nice and happy . The only benefit of a true bucket is that it is a little more rigid but it all depends in the quality of seat and its construction. I have bride reproduction semi buckets with a carbon fiber shell and all black suede. I have the planted seat brackets as well, they are nice too. Not only do they look great but feel really good, so I like them. Seats are not cheap. I paid 140.00 x2 for the planted beakets and 450.00x2 for the seats so you do the math.

Anyway I wanted to ask you a question about the seats because i am a tall guy and when i go to track day and i use helmet, my helmet is hitting the roof :D ( with OEM seats) so to my question, is the bucket seat mooving you a bit down? Thanks man!

Definitely would make a world of a difference ripping through the Santa Monica mountains...I'm always shifting my weight around to get a better angle of attack on the road and my seats are pretty sporty.

Not sure if you did it or not, but you can code out the seat belt butlers so they don't hit the back of your new seats. And just a recommendation but you should run the seat belts through the bottom of the seat by your hip.

Once you have the seats and harnesses.... its a bit like do you take the blue pill or the red pill scene on the matrix in track terms ... unlock how the car talks to you. On track this should feel so fluid now ... well done 😎
