I'm not 20 years old, I'm more than 40 years past that, LOL... I too, used to be an alcoholic, I quit drinking after I met the mother of my children, 25 years ago. I straightened up and flew right as my father used to say. I wouldn't dream of changing a single thing from that moment on. My children grew up and are productive members of society, with good moral standing and respectfulness that I never had at their age, I am very proud of all my children, due mostly to the woman that I fell in love with each and every day. I worked all my life to try and be a good father and be an example for them, I can work circles around them yet and at 60+ years old, trying to inspire them to reach higher all of the time.

G'day, Mr. Bucken. I have had my own business for eight years, and I love my job. The glass is always half full. It's never half empty. You only get one shot at life. There's no reset button. Thanks to your guidance, I'm pretty handy with a file square or round. I appreciate it. If you're ever in Tasmania, you're more than welcome here. So there I was this Sunday just gone , at 6 am in the morning -had the weekend off as I’m a chef by trade ( hideous hours ) and I had a whole pile of Eucalyptus stumps to chop , loads of old crap with knots galore and I couldn’t be bothered .. I just couldn’t , but I knew it had to be done ,anyways .. I switched on to Buckins’ channel as I do with my morning coffee and 1 single video inspired me at that moment to just get it done . So I marched out to my yard and spent the next 8 hours solid chopping and stacking , chopping and stacking and I finished a broken man , jees that was tough but - I FELT GOOD , I achieved, and all the time I was sweating and cursing at the wood I had Buckin Billy Ray in my head just telling me to keep going . SERIOUSLY. Buckin , the content you produce in your channel is powerful . The words you speak moves me . Please….. consider writing an autobiography. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

Hey there wood chopper, I've made the same decision as you some 3-4 years back,I love dropping trees & chain saws.I thank you for the reassurance that you give me,& feel the same way you do about what people think or don't think.55 in February & still climbing with experience in many other trades I feel safe dropping power lines to drop a tree or doing whatever it takes to get them off the house. Which I've had to do although I don't have the experience you probably do, and just a small community where I live I dropped several Big trees. And after watching your videos I'm starting to feel safer about the wedges and the decisions I make with ropes and trucks and such

You sir have inspired me to do what I have been up to. You are correct about people either wanting to connect with you or criticize. I have found they exist both ways all over the world. Some people want to help and some other want to tear down. You have encouraged me to pursue running a saw and getting out in the forest. I knew nothing before watching you. I don't claim to be an expert but I love your message and appreciate how you mix the two worlds of Service and Working. Love it Buckin! I will one day shake your hand! Thanks for the tip on getting the chain unraveled bye the way and encouraging me to keep going. Have a good day friend!

hello buckin nice video lots of info for certain people i bought a 372xp 15 years ago and love it the only thing i did not love was the chains that i dulled out with all that speed and power that i was not used to coming from smaller saws i filed my but off for quite a few years than finally saved a few bucks for an oreogon grinder but was never happy with the results they came out sharp but never out of the box sharp fast forward a few years i finally nailed it to anybody reading this post you have to experiment with different angles for the wood you are cutting once you find the angles for your grinder you will love it i can actually cut more wood on my grind than out of the box

Always like your videos! But I gotta tell my chain story… My son in law bought a chainsaw. Then my daughter called and said he must of hit a rock or something and it just won’t cut any wood. She asked if the next time we travel down to visit could I sharpen the chain for him. No problem. Next time we made the trip I brought my files and when we got down there I said let’s see the saw. I then told them it didn’t need to be sharpened, it’ll cut just fine. I said just turn the chain around it’s on backwards. Traveled 700 mile to swap the chain around. But it does cut pretty good now!

I was going to say you can see where the saw shines just like a hot knife through butter in the small wood! Did fine in the bigger stuff but just isn’t big on the low end grunt! Where as the 394/395 066/661 just got that low end torque! It is a big reason why I love the big cc saws but you just can’t beat the 391 XPW or the 044! It’s crazy those types of saws some being 40 years old can still hang right in there with the new stuff of to day. Something to be said about such incredible engineering it’s is why they are loved so much and where we are today with saw technology! Great video brother thank you again.🤟🏻👏🫡

Buckin’, you should definitely get a grinder and etc set up in PA… make it your U.S. Home-base for teaching… perhaps do workshops that folks can sign up for. Heck, take the teaching workshops on-tour and get out there with your message of kindness. The world needs you. We’ve all seen it… folks constantly bickering over politics, religion, etc and/or digging’ their heels in on whatever ‘truths’ they’ve decided to latch onto… Along with the freedom that power saw and axes bring… we need you and your message, the understanding that you lean on. The alternative to all that fear out there is LOVE and kindness and compassion because our brothers and sisters standing next to us… no matter what color of skin, no matter who they’re connected to- spiritually, no matter their ability- physically or cognitively, no matter our differences… we are fellow humans. We all need guidance and help in “zooming out” sometimes- seeing the forest for the trees…instead of hyper-fixating on the most minuscule detail of some difference. We need you, Buckin’! The world needs Buckin’ LIVE and On Tour. Buckin Billy Ray’s Peace, Love and Powersaws Tour ‘24! Here’s to unity, not uniformity!❤

Just curious, what was your drugs and level of alcoholic were you at? I'm struggling but finding inspiration. Just want to know how far in the hole you fell.

I went and bought a Mac 10-10 didn't have a pull rope guy said it was his dad's and didn't know when it ran last. $50. And the threw a Poulan wood shark. I put a rope on it gas in it and made sure it was getting spark 4 pulls and it was running. I still need to adjust the carburetor. Couldn't beat it for 50 bucks
