Thanks for being here, I find your vocal presentation excellent. I love bucktails and enjoy using them, watching your video on bucktails was very informative as well as fun. I have a few old ones I've collected over the years that I don't use, their just eye candy, keep up the good work.

I've tried and tied so many bucktail jigs and it is different every time. Depends on what they are feeding on, water clarity is, bait size, etc. I generally tie 1/8 and 1/4 oz roundhead jigs. Mainly use bucktail and Krystal flash or zonker strips. When the creativity is flowing, I will use a whole array of fly tying materials. Usually used for anything that bites. Walleye, smallmouth, yellow perch, crappie, even catfish and carp. I have tied more than 500 since COVID and only have about 20 for me. If anyone wants to know what I am using, usually get a few to try on me. Sometimes it pays and sometimes it doesn't. It's an easy way to mimic what's swimming around. Bucktails produced larger fluke for me on the pier. Yes everyone else was catching a ton, but not one keeper vs me i got three. Larger bait larger fish maybe idk.

Hey Paulie besides bucktails being the best lure hands down, how are those HYSEA waders working for you because LLbean waders keep leaking on me and they are pretty pricey too.

They work. But most waders don’t last…especially in the salt water, and kneeling on muscle beds all the times. I love my FroggToggs though. They’re really good with customer service too.

@@GetReelBassFishing Thanks for the intel Paulie I also have a pair of Frogg Toggs that I got from J&H but when I go in the water the right boot gets full of water I guess like you said all waders will leak eventually
