it is the center of the city, which is reserved for tourists. It is only 3 small districts out of 23. There are the same problems here as in other major cities around the world. That's the dark side of Hungary, people like to complain a lot, there might be some reason for that, especially in the past. Nowadays, the most important reason is the political division and manipulation at every level. For opposition guys the darkest color is the orange, and everything is run down and ruined.

It is certainly run down. Of course the video doesn't show the bad parts , only the clean ones. The city is in a horrible state full of homeless people, drug addicts and alcoholist laying on the ground at the busy intersections, the city centre or literally anywhere. Also everything is full of trash. And all of this comes from someone who lives in Budapest.
