Luciano is a Don, it makes sense. In terms of GiGi she’s a higher up because she manages the funds and reports directly to the Dons. This is just for the business side of the organization. Yuno would be above her when it comes to heist decision making. He doesn’t care about ranks.

Gigi being the Underboss/Consigliere is very deserved. I feel Marty being a soldier might lead to drama, but in the mob a soldier is still a made man. Now he wasn't that far off from captain either when he had the side squad. But time will tell if he sticks around, gets to stick around or not.

... Make Captain and Underboss the same rank lol? Why are you adding more ranks, when the Captain does all the work, that Underboss just reports on? Get the report directly from Captains and save yourself a headache.

The underboss is a rank in mafia hierarchy, and that is what this crew is based on. Typically, there is only one boss, but it doesn't need to be one to one. I feel like Luciano is more of an underboss compared to Lang, but it would be pretty disrespectful to demote Luciano.

It's mainly about the bigger picture. Adding more ranks will help in the long run if they super expand like they envisioned. Like if they had multiple captains just for weed and multiple captains for moonshine etc. Having all those captains report to Dons can get overwhelming. So you have multiple Underbosses that manage the captains and report to the Dons. That way the Dons know the on goings of the gang but have time for their own things and leading gang.
