@@friendofp.24 It is in the sense that it limits the organic emotion that is created within a song. Speeding up and slowing down is natural and IMO enhances a song. Look no further than Led Zeppelin, the Doors and the Who. Hell, listen to Densmore come out of the slow portion of L.A. Woman. He is way faster than the tempo in the beginning of the song. But it's all good man, you can disagree. There are lots of opinions on this topic.

@@Meme-zc4cw I completely disagree. You didn't even tell that the song fluctuated in tempo until you listened to this. I can't either, because they're trying to be on a beat. If they divert from it by one or two BPMs then no one can even tell. What's actually robotic and artificial is pitch shifting, EQing, and mastering the fuck out of every fragment of a song. That's what makes me tired of modern Weezer and modern music in general.

Blue was fully recorded but Jason's parts had to be rerecorded. Rivers ended up recording the rhythm guitar part so Brian only ended up doing backing vocals.
