Because while it looks like it should be simple, there is a pretty fair chance of stumbling and injuring yourself, especially after performing it over and over. They most likely decided it wasn't worth the risk for one of then to injure themselves, as it would drastically slow down production.

When I first saw this movie back when the sequel released in 2000, I wondered, did Sherman Klump/Buddy Love say "Equator" as in the Earth's equator, or "Crater" as in the craters on the moon in 4:13. Either way, equator and crater sells the joke. And I had no idea that was Dave Chappelle! He looks so different without his moustache!
