Y’all need to chill. They said they washed the jeans(3:08-3:11) and the fabric was a perfect square. They didn’t rip off a perfect square from his pants or enough to make a square that big. It was probably done for tv entertaining sakes.

The clients name is Wendy Mclein . IN April 2013 Wendy and her son Denim( 3 yrs old) were badly injured after a car jumped the curb and hit them. It hurts my heart to say that Denim later passed away from his injuries.

He made it more complicated than it had to be . My idea would be to make a flat regular cake shaped like baby overalls with little denim patches .on the bottom side of the cake a stack of blocks and a bear with the name Denim on the middle of the overalls middle pocket .

Because that’s nasty still. You don’t know how old those worn pants were and they put that on a customers cake. That’s like going to goodwill (they wash the clothes too ) getting some jeans and throwing it on a cake for people to eat.

That was so damn gross when they preferred the used denim to give texture. Also, personally I don't believe that it was a good cake. The cake represented the leftovers of denims... It should me made in a clean manner. Also, to show the ripped jean part, thin white fondant must have been used instead of poking holes. Definitely, if buddy did put some time ki the idea on cake, rather than experimenting on cake, it must have turned out as one of the best cakes of cake boss

People that cook in restaurants don’t even have to wear gloves, it’s not against health code and it’s actually cleaner if you continuously wash your hands, versus wearing gloves and touching meats, veggies and everything else with the same gloves, I’d rather have them not wear gloves and wash their hands after they touch raw meat
