I've noticed a lot of people calling 200 dollar subs budget here lately. Imo these are entry level to the bigger subs and not budget. To me budget usually means stamped steel basket, lower xmax, lower watts and less than like 150 bucks.

@@dretey9072 Nope! Not to me and many other people. American Bass Xo series is a budget sub. The XR will hang right with all the more expensive subs when it comes to sound. They just can't handle 2k plus watts. A best seller on Amazon is two MTX in an enclosure for 150 bones. Now that is budget and they hit pretty hard too. Thats less than 1 AB XR.

I have a single XR 12 inch. What did these bad boys meter at? I like seeing systems that do a lot with a little amount. Efficiency can be an impressive attribute for some big BASS lol!!!
