The next era in computing is not only smarter, it's spatial.
Computers continuously get more powerful and mobile, connecting us to the endless streams of information about the world around us. Screens, our current window into this world, have become limiting. With a world of rich content all around us, why restrict it within a rectangle?
Magic Leap One is a spatial computer-a lightweight, wearable device that enables you to see and interact with digital content in the world around you. Seamlessly integrating digital content within the physical world, it frees you to look up from flat screens, and interact with people and things in a smarter way.
The Magic Leap One includes a headset (Lightwear), a processor unit (Lightpack), and a controller, all powered by Lumin OS, the world’s first spatial operating system.
The Magic Leap World app store gives you access to downloadable content across a range of categories such as social, gaming, sports, music, entertainment, shopping, news, lifestyle, and art. From Star Wars and Angry Birds, to NBA and CNN, Wayfair and Avatar Chat, you have access to an ever-expanding portfolio of apps to enjoy anywhere.
You now have the freedom to watch multiple games at once, at whatever size you want, wherever you want. Encounter robot invaders pouring through your walls and dodge jellyfish after you’ve turned your kitchen into a coral reef. Choose your personal avatar and hang out with faraway friends, as if you are really there. The possibilities are infinite.
Magic Leap aspires to enhance the world we live in, not replace it, which is why you can see, hear, and interact with everything around you while wearing your Magic Leap One.
As powerful as a laptop. Light enough to wear every day.
A wearable spatial computer that brings the physical and digital worlds together as one. It’s portable, powerful, and comfortable enough to wear for hours on end. Laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones confine our ideas. Magic Leap 1 sets them free.
What is Spatial Computing?
Unlike virtual and augmented reality, spatial computers understand the space they’re in. For the first time, digital content can interact with its physical surroundings.

Watch
Make your TV jealous. Watch your favorite movies, channels, and shows in any size you like, and have the at-home cinema experience you’ve always wanted.
We’re adding another dimension to computing.
Magic Leap is an AR headset that, like the Microsoft Hololens, uses Holograms. Whether you want to introduce your exhibition visitors to this new technology in a creative way through Spatiate, or prevent the next robot invasion with Dr. Grordbort’s Invaders, the Magic Leap has something for everyone.
History:
Magic Leap was once the world's most secretive start-up, raising over 1 billion in funding from tech giants like Google (Unicorn valuation reaching $6.4 billion). In 2018, the company launched the Magic Leap One to mixed reviews.
In 2022, the company released Magic Leap 2 for business and enterprise (education, medical fields). In 2025, cloud services for Magic Leap 1 will no longer be available, core functionality will reach end-of-life.
