I will give you a little known secret here, Tonewinner makes components for Emotiva. So, quality wise they would be fairly similar!

Hey man, thanks for coming by. No this amp the lights are either on or off. The Tonewinner AD5300 and AD7300 you can dim the lights or turn them off.

It is a great amp for SVS towers, those are the speakers I am using as well. They pair very well together.

The Anthem is a great amp though 👌. Haha, once I get a chance to run some rew sweeps of that Funk Sub, I will let you know first so you can tie everything down lol.

I haven't heard the AD5300, but it does have 300WPC vs this one which is 180WPC. This 5180 has a linear power supply which most likely will have a more quiet noise floor than the 5300. The 5300 is a switching power supply. The 5180 and 5300 are A/B toplogy. Although, in 2 channel listening the 5300 is just class A toplogy. I hope this helps...cheers.

It's a Shame for fonewinner it was the best bang for the buck... it will be the odd Nero 5 channel then ! I wish so MUCH you would review it I REALLY love your reviews and I live in Montreal, Canada I am following you since the beginning... Wish we would be neighbors I love cars a lot also

@@stanmyers5994 it's probably true that Americans need more products produced in the US. But it's not in the sense like the politicians' propaganda about US against China. US has been facing strong competitions from Europe, Japan, S Korea, Taiwan and other countries in automobiles, electronics and other products in the last several decades. As far as I know, most of the Chinese businesses don't care about politics( so are the companies in the other countries), all they care about is if they can make higher quality products in good price so they can survive and grow in the markets both in China and abroad. Many Chinese companies failed too because of the competition, a few survive. Make in US will sure to come back at some point, but it's not really up to the politics, it's up to the general trend, that's how the history works. ..just my 2 cents

yes and no lol. This is strictly a power amplifier, so yes you could power a passive subwoofer with it, albeit not very much power. On the other hand it is not like an AVR with a subwoofer preout, if that's what you mean.
