They took Dri Archer because he no longer plays football. I believe he quit after the coach did not give him a lot of play time. (There was obviously more problems than that, but they haven't been publicly released) He randomly didn't show up for practice, and doesn't answer calls from the staff. There are more than a few articles of this online. Like the comment so MMG can see!

A decent silver QB with fairly solid throwing stats is A.J. McCarron of the Bengals, he can be had for about 400-600 coin on Auction House 2.
