Does this truck also have the high clearance control arms to clear the 37’s?

From experience with 35son these trucks, I’d run a 35x12.5 Toyo because they are much more true to their advertised size and will fill in the wheel well better once mounted and under the weight of your truck. I ran a 315/70r17 Mickey Thompson on my PowerWagon and the traction was great but they really didn’t gain very much clearance at the diffs compared to the factory Duratrac 285/70r17s. I have 37x12.5 STT PROs on 17x8.5 AEV rims (+27 offset) on there now. Clearance gain is like 2.25” over factory but trimming was significant on the fender liner and pinch weld. They just kiss the factory disconnecting sway bar at full lock when at bump on the driver side.

I only have a 1500 but I run a 35 with a 17 wheel. I love the look of a thick looking tire

Ive got 37s and the trans is running fine. I do drive it accordingly but don’t necessarily baby it or abuse it. Go 37s it’s looks great 35s look small on a truck this size. 35s are for like a 1500 gasser.

The extra height doesn’t make a difference actually. If you’re okay with rubbing, you can make 38s work.

Is thuren cheaper?

Thuren is cheaper, but doesn’t use custom tuned Fox 2.0s. Whether you choose Carli or Thuren you’re going to get an awesome ride compared to a leveling spacer! Both brands make a great product.

The issue is all with the factory wheels. To fit 37s on a Ram you need a 8.5-9” wide wheel with +18 to +25 offset. Since the factory wheels are +45 offset, they cause rub on the factory radius arms and sway bar when turning to full lock. If you stick to the right wheel specs you can fit a 37 without issue and only do some minor trimming on the fender liners.

That all depends on your wheel specs.To fit 37s on a Ram you need a 8.5-9” wide wheel with +18 to +25 offset, but can get away with a 0 offset wheel and 37s on a 6” lift.

As long as you meet the right wheel specs!

It’s not a visually noticeable difference, but does make a difference when it comes to the front end geometry. The axle is about 1.5” off center without a track bar.

We recommend it for the sake of geometry collection, but it isn't mandatory.

You can add the Carli King 2.5” shocks, sway bar, and radius arms to this system in the future if you want more performance!

Absolutely! The height of your 5th wheel hitch is a factor, but the truck is fully capable to haul and tow at factory specs on this setup!

This setup tows just like a factory truck since it retains the factory rear coils!

Might want to get your pump or box looked at then! Keep in mind though that you never want to turn the wheel without the truck rolling. It’s extremely hard on your front end joints and parts.

@@CJCOffRoad Another killer build!! Well done! I've been waiting for months to order this exact kit for my 2019 2500, and the decision of 35s vs 37s has been killing me!! There's no doubt that the 37s look better, but I wish I would have gotten the 4.10s instead of 3.73s if I were going 37s, but the main thing that's got me looking harder at 35s is that 37s are $500+ per tire!

@@CJCOffRoad Yeah thats my thought. Took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong. AKA they had no clue so they said maybe tires are slightly different sized. LOL. Have you guy ever run into or heard anything like this being a problem?

That's totally within their capability, although they won't quite get the full 2.5" claimed height. They'll likely be about 1/4" less than that.

@@CJCOffRoad okay, would it be a good idea to go to the 3” coil with the heavier bumper? I want to keep rear suspension stock other than shocks. Airbags will be in the future.

@@noosh8316 I have an 18, so still the 6 speed. Bet we both would need to re gear.

@@noosh8316Yea I seen it, what's killing me is that I live at 8500 ft in Colorado. I already loose about 20% power just from the altitude.

In Colorado we’d probably recommend a re-gear with 37s due to the elevation and frequent mountain driving. Down here at sea level our Power Wagon actually did great with the factory gears on 37s!

The exact system you see here has a 1 year shock warranty (which is more than Fox offers) and a limited lifetime on the coils. The track bar has a 90 day defect warranty on the joints since they're a normal wear item.

We can actually do level systems for the 2wd trucks using Carli or Thuren coils and then a Thuren 2014+ 2wd track bar. All of that is on our website!

Nope, this customer is on factory 3.42 gears with 37s and likes how the truck handles. Our shop 2015 did 100k miles of hard towing and off road use with that same setup and had zero issues!

Chrome. The Carli King shafts are stainless, but at this price point it isn't possible.

Not sure who told you that as they fit just fine with some basic trimming of the pinch weld and fender liner plastic actually. Granted Toyo MTs are the widest tire around, so they do take more trimming than the same size Toyo RT etc.

Did they offer any options to remove the chrome on 4th gen trucks or do you need to do aftermarket modifications to delete the chrome?

They did! Any of the factory sport package trucks will have color matched bumpers/grille.

Actually these tires would rub on those too, and in fact rub even worse because they’re more tucked in. To truly clear these 37/13.5 Mts you need a +18 offset wheel. Every other tire would work perfectly though.

Expect about $800-1,000 for install. We have a whole list of shops in So Cal that could handle the work as well!

It is adjustable from 0-3" of lift with measurements in the instructions!
