Hey Parker, you should invest in the DATS software program. Order it from Parts Express, and it's very affordable. I've used it for years, for building subs and drivers, doing recones and custom built drivers, and also as a way to verify that Manufacturer's TSP'S are correct. Helps with the designing of enclosures tremendously, by finding out all of the data, and TSP'S on your selected drivers. Before that, I used to use Woofer Tester program on older Windows software. Trust me, it's a great, affordable investment. You wouldn't believe, how many subs have incorrect TSP'S.

Parker, love your channel. I think you could build this box on your own if you have a router and saw. Best advice I can give, is to use Sliding dovetail joints for the sides boards and miter joints for the top and bottoms. This will allow you to assemble the walls of the box. Then the 45s of the miter joints will allow the top and bottom to clamp down and self center themselves. This will reduce the need for screws and increase the strength of the box. Most boxes are built with simple but joints and screws. This is much weaker than dovetails and miter joints. I just recently built a 15" folded horn box for my cousin and 3 weeks in the voicecoil glue went and he needs a new 15. It breaks my heart coz he's been waiting awhile to bump and AudioPipe's cheapest 15 is cheap for a reason...... I'm sending him a link for his butt to subscribe and try to get a better sub.

For anyone looking for a nice set of mid bass drivers 6.5" & 8" Silver flutes are pretty sweet cast frames nice magnet and priced really fair, we're like under $50 each, $ for $ They have a lot more SQ than most of the mids from the car audio brands and have a lower frequency response. The really cool part is they have this silky grey wool composite cone. There not a main stream brand but they have been around for years and are very well known in the SQ community. I have the 6.5s in my doors and love em. Recoil makes some nice budget mids.

Man my entire system just got jacked and im back to 6×9's and it fucking sucks I had 3, 12" gothics in my 89 chevy cavalier and a uuu 5800 and a planet audio 2000 amp running them with a second battery and a cap and all of that was stolen. D4S amps would be your best choice for your mids and highs, the one JP is running in the Taho, it makes a ton of power, and you can continue to use it for other builds. PS I loved how most of this video was shot with the camera on a tripod it looks so much better!!!

You definitely want to run a separate amplifier to your tweeters because they cross over at different frequencies. It will save you tweeters. Also.. ise a taramps 1200 watt for the doors.

I went from 2 SA V2 12'S TO A XV3 15 and the single 15 def hits harder IMO. 15 is the way to go for big deep bass .

American bass is one of my fav brands when it comes to there subs,they handle the rated RMS without a problem,I've never had a 15 before tho i had the 12 but the spiders finally gave out on her last week but I ran it for a few years! Would love to win that 15 I'd build a solid box and bump it!if the cash goes with it it would go on a amp and electrical upgrades! I'd go full AB from mids etc
