When you get to the Retevis earpiece, do not forget to mention plugging the ear piece directly into SureFire EP4 or similar ear plugs for firearm sound reduction and better fit in ear.

FYI- the 3.5 input to the headphone jack should be a 90 degree. I find the straight in type design like this one often hits me on the shoulder when turning my head. Interested if others have had the same experience...

Issue wirh Rangeguards... When loud noises and turn up noise cancelling (eg when mowing grass), it cancels out the AUX audio input as well! Also Rangeguards need to be powered ON to get AUX audio (comms off if headset off/battery dead) however Walker Razors work wirh AUX audio even without power.

Two questions: does this setup work on peltor500 and Howard Leight? Also, any idea when the website (defense distributor) have promos or sale going on? Thx

I have the RangeGuards and really want to use the multimount but it gets in the way of the cheekweld. I suppose I can mount the mic so the boom is shooting out the same way with the volume knob and wear it in reverse left-right but not sure how much that'll effect the active noise canceling since the earpro's mic will now be behind me. Would you know of any solution around this? Thanks!
