Finally a realistic renovation, as well as a project I could embark on!! It has turned out awesome! Thank you for pointing out the importance of grinding down tile before painting it, as well as using a sealer coat!!!

I am curious what is meant by "realistic renovation"? I was about 2 minute into the video and was like "okay, so painting tiles has about 14 year worth of prep work, remind me I never want to paint tile unless I'm dieing in that house, or being paid" Do you mean it's not just peel and stick titles covering up other tiles? Or contact paper covering up tile? That it's probably just going to end up needing to be replaced much sooner than later. Budget?

DAMN DANIE this is next level!!!!! Just when we thought you might do stick on tiles, NOPE - SANDED, PRIMED, PAINTED, AND SEALED THEM or stick on countertops NOPE - BRAND NEW COUNTER TOP, CUT TO FIT, AND INSTALLED. Sheesh, I was amazed at all of your skills that you whipped out in this one. You really hit a home run, it looked like lots of work - especially when you painted the tiles and then went back with a tiny precision brush 😳😳😳the patience of a god. What a great result!

I don't know if anybody else said this, but moveable spray adhesive on the back of your stencil can reduce the bleeding A LOT.

A wee tip - for your next stencil. Once you put paint on roller, follow up with a kitchen paper roll laid flat and roll the roller over the paper a couple of times. Stencilling is “less is more.” But your bathroom looks terrific. You are so much fun to follow. 👍👍👍 and you are so talented.

My favorite part? The fact that it looks Nothing like it to start. What a transformation! I love how you made it so light and airy. You thought all the details through. I was hoping for a little more insight on how the interior part of the shower looked, but the gold shower caddy really was the focus of the shower. Great job!!

A bit late , I did this in my apartment about 7 years ago. It was a lot of work but it still holds up. Tip for future stencil project: 1. Use spray adhesive on the back of the stencil= minimises bleeding 2. Roll the roller over a piece of cardboard after loading it up with paint to catch excess colour Happy stencilling 😉👍

I always enjoy watching your videos so much. Between the Harry Potter themed one and this bathroom, your quirky personality and unique voice have really been bursting through. A few tips for using the stencils to prevent bleeding: 1. Spray the back of the stencil lightly with spray adhesive 2. Wipe off excess paint on a paper towel 😃

I love your videos! You are so likable and easy to watch. PRO TIP: my dad always told me to lay masking tape over a laminate countertop before you cut through it with a saw. Like draw your line over the tape so you’re cutting through the tape and it helps keep it from chipping. ❤️

Courtney at Creative on the cheap has a great fix for a bleeding stencil. You first paint with the color that is already there. Then paint with your new paint color. It works amazing.

This was beyond perfect. Your best work so far. The original floor tiles were not so ugly as to justify so much effort, although the end result is exceptional, I would only pursue that extremely demanding task on really ugly floors. Loved every single detail.

Omg. I originally planned to paint the balcony tiles using stencils but now I'm happy we just replaced them. This is massive work! My main reason was ther was no way i could keep it clean before the top coat.
