Yea, that's when I 1st rode the bike, and I reset the speed settings for wheel size, and it was more around what yours runs at. But I love the bike and have done many upgrades to the bike. I've seen the same bike but with mags instead of spokes for five hundred&550 dollars on Amazon

Under the seat there is a cable that you disconnect. It is white and black. Mine was all by itself so it was easy to see

I just bought a EUY S4 1000w 26ah for $1,300 and a Ridstar 1000w 20ah for $1,132. Both 20" cafe racer style. I'm looking for a 3rd model to buy under $1,500. Any suggestions? Also can I charge these on a portable 12v solar charger that has a charge controller? Is there a way to connect the bike chargers to a + and - clamp? That's what my solar charger has to connect to. Thanks!

Hello! I have two of these X50's. In about 9 months of use the motor controllers failed. The reason was overheating on a hill. Make sure you get extra motor controllers if you buy one! Regards

Hi amazing video. Do you know where to get a replacement seat if you know the original seat rips? I been looking all over for replacement parts before purchasing. Like replacement parts for the turn signals, headlight, and seat. These don't seem to be universal parts but I could be wrong, please correct me! 😁

The headlight and turn signals should be replaceable on amazon. Might not be the exact model but you should be able to adapt them. As for the seat I would suggest just getting it redone at an upholstery shop.

If I remember correctly you hold up and down to get into the menu. The one of the settings in there is where you change it.

If you can come up with a way to store the battery you can buy a splitter that will allocate an extra battery. As for a rear rack you would need to custom make it

Hello Great video. I like the bike, very nice. Questions. Can the battery be upgraded. And what would you recommend for it to do so ? And what type and size air shock for the front ? I might get one. I'm 6' 3" 215lbs. With foot problems. I need this bike. But I think it needs more power.

I am sure you can upgrade the battery. You just need to get the same voltage. The front isn’t a air fork it is a spring fork. You just need one made for a 20 inch fat tire bike.

Question I love mines but I’ve been looking for another battery just for back up but the ones I’ve seen on Amazon looks like the bike battery but underneath the battery don’t look the same so would the battery I’ve seen online will be ok u think

@RunBikeMike Hey Mike great video, need your input, trying to decide. Got some questions. 1. Based on your testing, is the Jansno easy to use for peddling as a bike? 2. Curious how does it compare to the Hiboy 26" fat tire for on-road and off-road riding? 3. How does the X50 ride compare to a folding 750W ebike? 4. Can you PLEASE weigh the X50 with battery? Lots of different info on the web, just need to know on actual scale? 5. Lastly, PLEASE measure the full length of the X50, the wheelbase, and ground to seat height for me? There are NO dimensions of this ebike anywhere! Even on the manufacturer site!? Thanks so much 😎👍

Let me answer a few now and a few when I get back home. 1. It is not a great pedaling bike. It is more of a moped than a bike. Unless you are very short then pedaling would be ok at best. 2. The hiboy is going to be a better bike for biking the X50 is more of a cruiser bike. 3. That all depends on the controller and the number of amps it puts out. I will answer 4 and 5 later.

@@RunBikeMike Hey Mike any update on the weight and measurement specs? Also X50 has a 25amp controller which is high, probably helps give great torque vs. most have 18 or 20amp. I think folding ebike would have to much fllex in the frame for offroad compared to the X50? I prefer more compact than 26". Thanks for answering my Qs! Will click on your link if I get it 😎👍

How do I lock the bike so no one can just power it and ride off? Some bikes have keys to turn it on? How to do with Jansno?

On that bike the keys only lock the battery. You would need a bike lock to lock it unfortunately.

How tough are those tires. l saw another video and the guy got a puncture on his first ride, going to work on a flat road. Also, that seat looks high. l have sciatica, so need it to be easy to mount. Everything else looks great, especially the indicators, which l haven't seen on other bikes like this - except the Cavet Aspadz.

They are not the best so tire liners are suggested. The seat is realistic low compared to a normal bike.

Does this ebike have throttle only capabilities? Can you just twist the throttle from a stand still start and it starts moving or do you need to pedal to activate throttle?

It has a throttle so as long as you are in level 1 or higher you don’t have to pedal.

Take the rear derailleur guard off that makes a big difference

I eventually took it off. But originally I had to use a very thin wrench. The peg acts as a protector for the RD so no need for two. It makes installing the pegs a lot easier.

Today I got 21 miles on my ride with slower throttle only (15-20) and occasional bursts (25-30) to get across streets. Got back with about 43% battery. I thought id be walking home lol thats decent.

The price of this bike seems too good to be true. To anyone who owns this bike: Have you experienced any major problems that would explain the low price? Any theories on why it's so cheap?... I love this bike and can actually afford it, but the mind bogglingly cheap price is also a huge red flag. Minor issues i can handle, i'm worried there is a catch that completely ruins this deal.

My battery just went bad on mine with 1020 miles on it, I had a few minor connection gremlins right at first, not a big deal. The tires are cheap, I rode on bike paths mostly and the back tire is bald. The rear suspension is STIFF, but it kinda works, I'm 220 lbs. For the price, I'd do it again, found replacement battery for $225. Don't bother even installing the fenders.
