Thank you for this, I’m going thru a divorce and living on my own again. I don’t get paid much and want to do as much as I can for my two boys. I’m a father first, if I have to eat cheap for awhile, it’s worth it for them. Thank you again. 👊

Keep in mind he's talking Canadian dollars. His $100 grocery bill is $75 US (September 2019 exchange rate)

My wife and I would go shopping every 2 weeks on a $50.00 budget. She always asked me how I do it. Simple. My father grew up poor and he taught me the values of picking fruits and meets, looking at the weight, consistancys and experation dates.

Oatmeal...my go-to breakfast food. Mix in some strawberries, blueberries, ground flax seed, hemp protein powder and a couple teaspoons of coconut sugar and you got a nutritious packed meal. I’m not bodybuilding but I decided to take control of my health last June and joined a gym and go 3-4x a week. I am trying to put on a little muscle though. My cholesterol is now in a healthy range and I’m meeting my fitness goals and it feels great!

Frozen veggies are perfectly fine. And in some cases, can actually taste better than fresh pick. Fresh pick are often picked before they're actually ripe to try and gain it some shelf time so it's not picked at an ideal stage, and in some cases then chemically ripened the rest of the way with a spray over it's transit time. Frozen veggies can be picked at their ripest before flash flash freezing. Would surprise you the amount of restaurants that use them and you'd be blissfully unaware eating their dishes.
