Rishikesh, Uttrakhand is a Yoga City of India. We traveled from Delhi To Rishikesh by Road. We stayed in Budget Hotel in Rishikesh - GMVN Ganga. Ganga Resort is the Best hotel in Rishikesh and it is near Ganga. You can cover, Ganga Aarti in RishikeshGangaAarti and also river rafting is organized from this hotel.
On day 1, We stayed in Hotel and explored Rishikesh, and witness the Ganga Aarti in Parmarth Niketan Ashram. We also shared the details of river rafting which is organized by GMVN Ganga Resort by GMVN. While coming to Rishikesh, we also explored the Roadside Dhaba moolchand.

It is a beautiful resort .From your room 24 hrs you can see Maa Ganga .It is with in budget. Your selection is good.

Very very safe .Surrounded by so many reputed ashram like Ravi Shanker etc. Staff is good.

I have stayed here, excellent location, couldn't get better with spacious rooms and decent cleanliness. Par baaki saara kaam sarkari hi hai 😂. Poor service, mediocre breakfast, room phones, kettle etc. doesn't work, worn out furniture, needs painting, you will have to come down to reception to ask for every basic requirement

Thanks Ashish for watching the video.Cost was around 6400 for super deluxe room but otherwise room rates are between 4000-6400 based on room types.

How is the resort in terms of night-time? is it empty and safe for solo female travelers? Also how about family stay at night time, is it usually very empty? Looking at it, it seems like we cannot walk outside at night time. please share your experience.

Hi @aman , I have been to this place twice. As per my experience it’s an excellent place to stay as solo female or with family. Can’t comment on empty rooms as in my all visit I always found modern occupancy. Also there are enough staff and all are very nice . Entire resort has its own boundary and I don’t see any challenges walking outside within the limit. Rest you can see more reviews on trip advisor to know more.
