Review and walk-thru of the Tokyo-Kyobashi branch of Sotetsu Fresa Inn which is a Japanese hotel chain. I will cover the amenities, room configuration, sleep quality, and more. This hotel is close to Tokyo station and very reasonably priced.

I don't mind small rooms or simple rooms but I can't deal with depressing beige bathrooms. When I travel I really need nice bathrooms that are spa-like haha!

No toilet paper? Just those spray ones? Also are these self check in hotels when guests arrive or can I ask a receptionist to check me in?

Hi there! Fortunately toilet paper is provided. They have self check in kiosks as well as receptionists.

@@travistravels8818 thanks because I reserved same stotetsu fresa inn at toyocho location. Now I will need to learn how to use one with spray and toilet paper wipe

We are planning our honeymoon and practically all the hotels with a good quality/price ratio are Sotetsu. we are very undecided. 🤣

Sotetsu is good value for money. Dormy Inn and Daiwa Roynet are similar if you want more variety. Hope you have an amazing honeymoon!

chain hotels usually have check-in kiosks with English option. Very easy to use. Front desk staff usually speak English. You’ll be fine don’t worry

None within walking distance. Closest is in Ueno, a few subway stops away

I just booked for this hotel I am 6'0 feet tall and 270+ but I plan on losing weight before late October
