The RPK is hugely underrated, it’s pretty much modded out of the box, nice to see some more builds of it here on YT

308 Mdr is imo really good, shorter barrel helps so much in dorms when going through the rooms and I like the lower rof for overall accuracy

I went into this video thinking I already knew the best attachments to use for every price point but you surprised me with the Surefire SF3P muzzle device/suppressor. I always like running suppressors when possible and had no idea this option was available at such a low price point. Also I noticed you use the BUS stock a lot. The HK E1 stock has the same recoil stats but also adds an additional 2 ergonomics compared to the bus and goes for around $106 US dollars. Thanks again for the great content

Hell yeah. That's my budget meta DT MDR right there. That thing is just so good right now. You can keep it at 85k, by keeping the muzzle stock and using an M-LOK grip. 89 Ergo and 101 Vert. Recoil isn't the worst thing to deal with. Of course, price in your scope of choice. It's basically a better hunter, for 2.5 times the price. The best go to budget gun, once you have Peacekeeper LL3, IMO.

You should consider including the 5.56 AKs in a video. M855A1 is crazy good after it got buffed and it's still remarkably cheap. I get an AK-101, CAA hanguard, RVG, butt pad, and a bastion with whatever sight I have around, and it's an excellent cheap gun that can pretty reliable deal with up to class 5 armor and is controllable in full auto.

THX for this work... if im in the presets im almost stuck because of the choices...the m4 ist my new "pretty underrateted lady" and for this price.... its a laser although... if i could get to 50% SR or above their is no need for this... but at my skillevel its nice to know "get a headshot and buy a 2nd one" :) also ur budget builds before helps me alot

Tbh you NEED a Lazer of some sort bc it does condideribly increase hip fire accuracy and if you are taking an mdr that is a must bc of the less than good ads time

The DT MDR really rips, it's a dope gun. On the other hand, recoil focused parts are MUCH less effective on the MDR (because the MDR lacks a stock attachment). The MDR gets about 1 less point of recoil reduction per percent recoil, while the other 308 guns typically see 3-4 points of reduction per recoil percent. I like building DT MDRs suppressed with an ergo build-- you can slap on the KAC suppressor for about 45k, and a shift (or a mlok afg) and some mbus sights and a scope and get an 80+ ergo, 99 vertical recoil suppressed rifle that goes full auto for cqb and can snipe with the best of them for around 150k with scope AND suppressor. That and the RPK built similarly to what you have (I tend to use the long barrel-- 10-15k extra to get the recoil down to 40 or less) are my go to guns this wipe. I don't think making a "budget" m4 is worth the trouble-- you CAN make something like what you showed, and with 855a1 being buffed it's not too bad, but I'd much rather shoot BS/Igolnik from the RPK or m62/m61 from the MDR. That 46 recoil is certainly passable, but mid 40s recoil on an M4 is a lot worse than mid 40s recoil on an RPK thanks to fire rate.

Honestly I prefer using budget meta weapon builds even with a lotta money. Maybe I'll change my mind with more gameplay but for now I like using different stuff.

Imo both MDR versions are pretty viable. Of course the one shooting m61 is better, but shooting some 995 or 885A1 from 556×45 version is still pretty good. Plus like you said they are both so cheap to effectively mod

jesus. Just the price difference between the rpk and ak74 is about twice as much as I would spend on my gun

An alternative 100kish (before optics) .308 build for the M1A that gets pretty silly recoil stats: -Bare receiver from Mechanic -SASS stock, from flea for ~25k -The cheapest pistol grip you can grab -22" barrel, from Mechanic -Armacon Baskak, dirt cheap from Skier -JP Muzzle for M1A, from flea for ~5k -RK-0, from Skier Setup costs around 101k total before any sights are added and gets me down to 66 vertical recoil, plus you can buy 30 round mags for the M1A vs. the 20-round mags the MDR takes. That said, the super long barrel will make peeking through doorways clunkier compared to the more compact MDR.

Great vid, lots of good ideas. Just one liiittle oversight with the MDR. If you are getting it from the FM, assuming you don't have lvl 4 PK, you'll need to get the mags on the FM too...and they're 50k a pop :/

For the m4 use the cqr grip for a little more roubles

Been running the mdr a lot this patch, best Sniper, the ergonomics are crazy, Plus you can spend 20k on the thunder beast suppresor and you are made with that thing

The MP7 is also very much slept on. Since the buff to its ammo, even a base MP7A1 will run at less than 70k with ammo capable of penetrating the class 4 and above (except the hollow point).

IDK my non meta builds: mech2 trade in m4 bitcoin+gp u get a 56 recoil 60 round monster sub 150k. Ak is a 74m with PT1 with a CAA +any grip sub 50k roub sub 60 recoil gun, bring igoniks and you will shred people and the best part? I've gotten that ak74m back Everytime through insurance

m4 build was good till i realized im at lvl 3 mechanic for the buffer tube and I need level 4. >goes to search it up on flea market > 100k rubles vs 10k from tier 4 trader awesome

Please also consider using the MP7, fmj ammo is cheap and has 40 pen, the gun only needs a laser and a sight, while recoil is so low you dont even need a foregrip.

Cool builds, I now just need to unlock the trader lvls so the market wont rip my rubles from my azzhole, probably be able to have all those lvls in 6 months

Personally for the RPK I would do Magpul rvg and fde carbine stock with pad. You only lose a few points of recoil and pick up a TON of erg which makes is very clean to use.

Some kind of picture guide to go with these would be great, its hard to make guns from a video.

you can get an RPK for 8 caps and 2 weapons parts. thats a PSU, screwdriver, and 366 vepr to make whats needed in your level 2 workbench. No one ever loots these items - I get about 3 RPKs a day.

Both mdrs are big time underated. So much ergo for free with those things.

people should look into the stm-9 9 inch handguard, no redoil reduction but dosnt need any attachment rails

Regarding the MDR build, have you tried running a Magpul M-LOK AFK instead of the RK-1? Its 10k cheaper, and only 3 higher vert recoil, and 5 higher ergo!

Keep the mdr quiet, I love that gun and i hope it doesnt skyrocket in price

I think a big problem is that many people don’t have mechanic lvl 4 unlocked which bars them from using relatively cheap bis parts. I don’t think money is that big a concern tbh

Different upper for m4 can be cheaper and better sometimes. And building a hk for the same price as m4 you get around 41 recoil. Costing 160k

Does the price include the price of the gun or just mods?

i love how the super clunky bulky M4s and HKs or whatever are pretty much nerfed now, so stupid when a gun is that huge and bulky yet still has 0 recoil or 0 manoeuvrability issues
