I'm so happy for you! I discovered your channel a month ago when I was looking for budgeting content and I also went through a phase were I wanted to pack up my life and start fresh in Vancouver. I'm a fellow Canadian from Calgary but I have lived in France for the past 8 years. I also just got an offer I made on an apartment accepted. I didn't think I could buy a place in Paris but it's happening... it was unexpected and my mortage will be more than my current rent (Paris rent and real estate prices is comparable to Vancouver IMO). I hope it all works out for you and your partner. Perhaps we will be experiencing a similar transition from being renters to homeowners lol! JP
