I'm seeing a lot of people just saying "breed it" to people wanting a certain budgie mutation. Remember to be responsible. Budgies are bright and lovely creatures before they are a vanity showcase. Don't breed irresponsibly.

Let’s clear this for once and for all: budgies do NOT have the red gene (which is necessary in order for a bird to look pink) therefore: red and pink budgie DO NOT exist.

@@yasminlayloni9111 That must've been a Bourke, Bourke's parrot can be naturally pink, search: "Rubino Bourke's parakeet" or "Rosy Bourke's parakeet" and you'll see. Or the bird was dyed :(

Do you think in the future, we can genetically modify the genes of Budgies to produce more mutations and varieties? Who knows, maybe soon we will have budgies that are: - Full Black Budgies (almost like a crow) - Half Black Half White Budgies - Pure Blue Body Budgies - Pure Green Body Budgies - Pink, Orange, Red & Maroon Budgies

@Ice Gaming i found one vid and despite being showy the poor budgie has been clearly sprayed by some kind of color but the result was amazing even if I don't want anybody to try thst on their beloved budgies the color turned out to be shiny black green.

Regarding hues of red or pink I was wondering that violet is a blend of red and blue so being violet present as a color in the genetic I was wondering if in the future that mutation may appear inside amy collection breeding splitting the color gene violet into two colors pinkishred and blue...

@@marcopaganelli6059 no not possible , because the blue we see is not a pigment like black(eumelamine) or yellow (psittacine) the blue is a structure color which means that it is the shape of the feathers that refract the light and only lets the blue bounce back , that in combination with the yellow gives green. try this; take a green feather and hit it with a hammer a few times , now the structure is destroyed and the blue is gone and all that is left is a yellow feather. And the violet we see is due to the fact that the mutation causes for thinner and closer together blue feathering which , refracts the light slightly different and lets less light true so the feather appears violet.

Some people dye their birds, basically poisoning them. It's quite sad, because sometimes they dye the birds into actual mutations (Lutino, Albino)

Please do some research before you comment something bold. An albino budgie is a budgie that is born with way, way less melanin. Melanin is what makes a budgies color, like a human. If you are an albino human, you tend to have paler skin, white hair, and white/silver eyes. For the budgie, it had white feathers and red eyes. Same with the Lutino, but it still has more melanin. There are people who dye their budgies sadly, but this is not how Albino and Lutino budgies were created. It is because of the Ino gene and cells. Do fact search

I know one women near our street that sells budgies and I am sure I have seen a purple one. Of course not full purple but the part of body, that was in this color, is not blue-purple. It was real purple! It looked so cute and interesting!💜💜💜

My budgie named Ocean has the yellow face mutation I named him Ocean because his head looks like a sandy beach and his body is like an aqua and his tail fades to an even darker blue, almost black, like the deep.

I used to have a female budgie that used to enjoy rubbing her face on this pink chew toy. She would always end up having what would look like pink eye shadow and she used to sleep upside down very Avantgarde, it’s crazy how much you can miss these little guys 😢

There’s definitely a possibility of white budgies getting into some trouble and becoming another color, I had some ducks who would eat any fallen fruit from trees in our yard, all of our white ducks had stained feathers for a while from juices and laying on fallen fruit 😂

Violet'purple Budgies come in 3 tones same as blue Budgies, Sky or light blue, Cobalt, Dark Blue, the same for Violet/purple pigment birds, they come in a light, medium & dark phase as do green Budgies, Light Green Medium or just Green & Olive. There is a forth shade of green but it happens when you breed a Grey to a Green & get Grey Greens.

3:50 I had a budgie that had more then one colour it was a purple, blue ombre colour but we had to give the budgie because we got to many and we didn't have space for another cage. The picture remanded me of her.

I don't understand how people can think the pink ones are fake, I literally own one. Her name is Peach. Most of her feathers are white but the tips are light-pink. It's very rare, but I'm not lying. The hot pink one is obviously fake but they can be light-pink.

My budgie Winter is a full White parrot with red eyes (Also known as an Albino) She's very gorgeous and appears to be bit bigger than my other budgies, her colour is very pure.I would be interested to see what makes Albino parrots look as stunning as they do, and if there's something that makes them look bigger.

5:01 about the violet mutation, yes it is possible to have a violet mutation if there is a lack of other color genetics. i say so, because i once owned a recessive pied purple budgie. however, this genetic mutation does affect the budgies health, so my purple budgie died soon after. so debunking budgie worlds debunk, i this part, you are wrong. the other ones im not quite sure of however.

Agreed! I bread with budgies (both normal and show budgie) for more than 10 years and I got several of the Violet mutations. Me and my grandpa both so if have to disagree that the violet budgie you debunked does excist, i hand several of those with such deep colour as shown in the video!

Black faces are really rare. I’ve always known that. By looking up the rarest GENETIC mutation. Edit: chimera is the ACTUAL rarest mutation.

A new mutation recently appeared, it’s called white cap and it’s basically a green budgie with a white face, the one in 6:00 is still fake tho, just look at those cheek patches’ colors!

A white cap isn’t always green I’ve got a few, they can also be Grey and blue- And a whitecap has a yellow and white face The cheeks are yellow and the top of the head is white

@@funny_budgie4822 grey and blue budgies normally have a white face, this is because they lack the yellow pigment, however the exception is when they have a yellowface gene, i think Boules De Plumes is talking about green or yellow budgies with white heads, i havent seen them though, would love to

The two budgies we had as a kid had three kids, the second two were beautiful but your usual blue ones, but the first one was a gorgeous albino white. Unfortunately it's albinism came with a deformed pelvis that prevented it from being able to stay on perches or land at all. :(

Used to own purple and white budgies, some babies had brown tips on the ends of the feathers instead of black

I had one like at 4:59 but a bit darker more violet looking almost like at 5:04! So it might be posdible.

I have seen cere that are very dark, almost purple before. Though, I think they were being fed color enhancement food.

I had two budgies the boy was blue with the black and whit wings he passed away unfortunately but my female kiwi is an all green budgie with no markings apart from on her cheeks she’s a pastel green hence why she was named kiwi xx

My babe budgie is white but on sunlight she can sparkle blue on some perspective and on sometime sightly pinkish on some perspective she is adorable

both of my budgies actually have the yellow face factor 1 mutation! one of my budgies are white and yellow with some blue and the other is yellow white and blue, although her body is majority blue

Two things: 1. The photo with the two white and purple budgies is possibly real as mine has that shade of purple 2. The green budgie with a pink beak is done through photo filter, one of the colour reversing ones. And the background is an odd colour reenforcing this.

i had a fully budgie in the past no green parts. How rare is it? I know there is one breed like that but, he had the black parts in like blue budgies but he was fully yellow no white. only black and yellow.
