Following Buffalo City Metro's years of erroneous billing, ratepayers
are taking their grievances directly to executive mayor Princess Faku.
Over the years, some residents have been overcharged by thousands of rands.
Today, representatives from over 30 wards protested these billing
errors and highlighted serious service delivery failures, including
lack of water, toilets, proper roads and housing.
Ratepayers gathered outside the East London City Hall, demanding
answers and accountability.
