The moment they removed her ability to freeze at close range for her 2nd skill, people kinda just stop using her. I guess the flicker>2nd skill>ulti chain cc combo was too op to deal with

Why am I only realizing now that Zhuzin is a bit like Cici in terms of how she attacks her enemies?

What made her go down the meta was her freeze effect on her second skill, i really hope they will bring it back, queen of cc they say....

They should also fix her 2nd skill freeze mechanics, there are times that it doesn't work as intended, I swear that the enemy was inside the freeze range but it's either delayed freeze or no freeze at all.

People want the freezing close to 2 to return, and they forget that that was exactly why hero rarely went open 🙄🤦🏻, Hero already has immense control, which if well executed could very well turn into a game, you just need to position yourself well in fights, people want something big for Hero, and forget what the company really does with Hero, if the freeze comes back at close range, it would only be a matter of time for them to give an even worse nerf, like removing the increase in ult control with each magical power or removing the 80% slowness that it gives when it is activated.

Yall its fine if aurora's 2nd skill is nerfed, been playing her recently and she's still a viable pick. Also i hope to see her in tournaments because she can help turn the tide with her ult

Everyone here asking for the buff on second skill has brainrot syndrome. Before u yap about buffing second skill ask whydid they nerf it. U want a powerful cc hain hero with a immortality passive and good burst to have such a strong freeze? Honestly again a small buff on her 2nd skill where at the Very Tip Range or just a small Triangle should be enough to make her at least deal with assassin or fighters getting close to her while still having that blind spot. And again not all Meele basic atk range are equal so some are a little bit longer range than normal so it would still help her in the long run while have a risk factor. Get closer to freeze but have a chance to die a little bit faster. Then on the enemy side just waiting for second skill to be baited by being in between of Tip range and outer range.

While the video's focus is on Aurora, I can't help but be awed by the enemy Zhuxin, she def slayed despite fighting a losing battle and I can't wait for her release! :D

I only played Aurora after her freeze nerf and thought she was bad, but then I started playing her like Eudora, (staying at max range and/or out of vision ) and she became one of my highest winrate mages. She just uses her 1st skill to safely poke and hold the freeze until there is a good opportunity to freeze or to peel your team. I was also just following someone’s build on Aurora which mainly consisted of raw damage items instead of lots of cooldown or high magic power. Personally I think she doesn’t need cdr because 1 ult can end games, you don’t need to always have it up. And then the magic scalings on the rest of her spells are not that great considering her cooldowns, so I don’t really like it. Building high magic power is also a bit difficult on a character who mainly has a supportive role. With my playstyle I mainly get assists and barely get enough gold to actually incorporate holy crystal nicely. I would rather get items that boost survivability or add raw damage. Personally I would rather they increase the damage or reduce the cooldown on the second skill. It’s definitely a bit clunky with the weird cast and delay, I think it deserves to be slightly stronger but the melee freeze should not return. Making it do bonus damage at the end in addition to the freeze is also another nicer touch, because it feels like a very weak ability if you can’t combo it with your 1st or ult.

Aurora's 2nd skill should have the ability to apprehend the enemies' momentum... They should take back the nerf on 2nd skill and make it like this: enemies on the near end of the skill's range will be frozen for 0.3 seconds...

Finally she's getting buff, I feel bad she isn't used rn after her nerfs

You should try using 5 holy crystal on aurora, you can freeze enemies and turrets with your ult for like 3.5 seconds with that build

The problem is she can't do anything when enemy close gap my suggestion is to give her a bit of freez effect but for shorter duration or slow effect or at least give her abit of movement speed boost when using on the closest enemy

More damage is always nice but it's her 2nd skill that really needs some changes; slightly increased range + casting speed or lower cooldown would be nice. But I personally just kinda want her old 2nd skill back & make it deal splash damage OR make her old 1st skill her 2nd skill so her wave clearing won't be affected that much and so assassins will fear her again. 🥶❄️

Just wondering why everyone building Sustain Build on Burst Mages? If you want sustainability, why don't just play Valir, Lylia, Cyclops etc.? I've seen a lot of players like this, and it really confuses me. Not only is there no damage with this build, it also kills their Burst ability. I've even seen Concentrated Energy on Burst Mages, and I guess some people have no idea what a "Spell Vamp Ratio" is.
