This is good, but why would thry give him JUNGLE AND ICE slimes? the gemstones and speed are already a big step-up in difficulty, giving it the most obnoxious slime variants as minions just feels like a sick joke

Because it's the king slime, I always thought it was weird it only used blue slimes like?? It's the king of slimes it should use them all

@@tnt5320I always thought king slime was just an abnormally large blue slime with a crown on its head, it being the king was more of that it was simply stronger than the other slimes

Ngl? This would actually be a solid rework if it was less spammy on the minions. I can tell the devs were tired of people making fun of King Slime being easy, and the change of it teleporting much more often in order to force you to change directions is quite nice! The minions don't seem to add much however (probably just done to piss people off tbh), and I can't seem to make out what the new gems do. If the speed near the end of the fight was tuned down slightly, the minions were brought back to their original roster, and got a more direct new attack? It would easily surpass Infernum KS.

I’m kinda late to this but basically: The Ruby Jewel just fires projectiles The Emerald Jewel dashes at the player And the Sapphire Jewel increases King Slime’s damage and defense while it’s alive

Any boss born after 1.3 can't cook, all they know is bullet hell, shoot they circle of projectiles, dash, shoot basic projectiles, and get destroyed by moving in a circle.

That makes no sense considering back then bosses were exactly what you said, only mod i can think of that was different was MOR and Split, spirit still didnt get the bosses rework so they were just spam. Yeah im not a fan of the new death mod but at this point this is the exception when it comes to bosses.

This rework is exactly my problem with Fargo's Souls bosses, they are just nonsensical spam creating artificial difficulty out of nowhere, I haven't tried the new update but if this is being the case for the rest of the bosses then it kinda worries me for the direction of the death mode versions of calamity

That's extremely false broh there are very few bosses that are actually like that in Masochist mode let alone eternity, every boss is choreographed, you just have to get used to the patterns and it comes to you especially the late game bosses like Abominations and especially mutant are 100 percent just pure learning to doge the patterns that's what makes the mutant so fun it isn't projectile spam like say supreme calamitys(I like scal but sometimes it really does feel like projectile spam)

in my experience most of the bosses in eternity mode have patterns to their attacks, you might just be bad at reading them

@@coolstorm955 yeah and also anyone can do it if they put enough effort because even me witch I have very bad reaction time and generally suck at games in fact most games I play are single player and I think that's one of the reasons why. And I was able to do masochist mode (after several other eternity mode runs and much practice over months) was able to get to mutant and am trying to beat it now, I am pretty sure Bassicly anyone can do it you just have to put enough effort into it.

I think they are making this difficult a meme, maybe they'll change de bosses later or maybe they don't care at all, which for me is okay, master mode itself is almost a joke for being nothing other than buffed stats anyway, so why hate at those changes? If you don't like it, don't play it. There's no point on hating on the Master + Death changes specially if those changes are only on this mode and not on lone Master or Death mode.
