​​@@berdan2810 Yeah i started a master revengeance (never even completed vanilla lol)... only just defeated The Destroyer on my 75th attempt... not enjoying the skel prime fight to even try again yet lmao ... i just got to the part in video where the twins drop in too... yeah screw that xD

If I want something above Death Expert I will ALWAYS play Infernum. The changes in Master Death are bafflingly idiotic. These genuinely feel like things a 10 year old would come up with.

@@butchcassidy887 I have my own gripes with Infernum, but at least that mod had some reason and care put into the fights.

I think it would be asking for an insane amount to have master changes to be as drastically different and shader-intensive as Infernum in a single content update

Do not expect anything like those addons from Fabsol, or the other devs that help Fabsol do the bosses. It's just asking to be disappointed. Fab does not like those addons, and simply deems the effort or flashy visuals unnecessary. So far the only addon he seems to really like is Catalyst, and (Wrath of the Gods a very tiny bit), so Catalyst is a bar you could expect for something like expert death mode post-ML bosses. These changes are meant to be like how vanilla upgraded some bosses from normal to expert, aka faster with some random twist. With all that being said, the version of this fight shown on patreon, and what Fab planned to add to that originally was 10 times more interesting than what we got. So I'm wondering were all that went. I wish I could tell how the fight looked out to be, but I can't.

@@Irradrizzle Sorry, I think I didn't explain myself in a good way, I mentioned Infernum because I think the way the mod reworks the bosses is really creative and usually fun, not so much because of its shaders and flashy effects. I know doing that kind of reworks can be hard and time consuming, but I also think they could have made a better work with the new AI additions to the bosses, this feels like something you would see in FTW or GTB and not something apt for master mode

Phases, 75% hp of prime destroyer comes and at 25% he leaves, same for twins but 50-0%.

This change is for master rev+ and so are the other insane changes to vanilla bosses. Just don't play on master mode, and if you want the stat bloat back just use some other mod that allows you to customize boss damage and health.

the master changes are definitely half baked but I would rather play expert rev/death ANY DAY over infernum, there are so many questionable decisions in that mod. I think storm weaver and ravager are more fun in infernum than in base cal but thats about it

And they aren't getting removed anytime soon, I just read a message in Calamity discord stating that Fabsol worked really hard on Sprime changes so they are just probably nerf it

It’s possibly both. He apparently was the only boss that struggled to spawn during the boss rush event. It kept glitching.

Sadly these are serious changes, but this isn't really surprising, Calamity isn't known for its revolutionary boss design

This is Master Rev+, so it doesn't effect anyone if you play on just Expert. Personally not a fan of it and it seems half baked probably due to the fact that since 1.4 Terraria had released, Calamity has only really given attention to Rev and Death on Expert
