Another key thing about buffed Mamba's Hunch is it lets you keep tabs on how many people are still in the game. If you see the player count has really dropped down, and especially if nobody is nearby, it means you're able to move faster with less risk; something that Madame Xiu really benefits from since she is solid at stalking down players so the more room she has to breathe, the more significantly dangerous she becomes. Not to mention it really helps you isolate fights if you see an easy one to pick in the moment.

Hey Glitch great video again. Love the daily content. I learn a lot from you. Today I was trying out W2 Octo but could not figure out how to charge the gun and hack at the same time like you did. Any tips? Thanks for another awesome video❤

Do you play on a controller by chance? I know you can do the same with YuMi's weapon (charge and hack at the same time) but it doesn't work on controller for some reason. When I do it I just start the hack, ADS, then charge, so hold E, hold R-click, hold L-click and it just works

Nice video! The Yumi and first Octo kill really shows the strength of the buffed passive. It makes her feel like an ambush predator. Was this game's passive's value higher than other games (assuming you played more than just this of course)? If it is more common to get two or so surprise kills from it then this might be one of her better passives now.

I think this might be her best passive now, from my relatively short testing. Even if its not getting you kills like it did in this video, it can also just let you know where people aren't so you can do riskier things in those areas. I think this passive will get you at least 1 ambush fight per game unless your unlucky, or on a really big map, but the value of just being able to tell what parts of the map people are in cannot be overstated.

@@1stGlitch why is this passive better than entire cav expertise? makes no sense. i legit used this passive and killed at least 2-3 people because of it. it is certainly her best passive now. Maybe best passive in the entire game.

Since you mentioned the shield and pad nerfs, i gotta say that the shield is virtually Un-balanceable (much like Yu-mi lol). Doesn't matter what they do to it, it's always gonna be either a useless type of issue, or an op type of issue...And that's mostly because of the Hard-hitting Single-Shot weapons this game has (Like Ace w3 or Yu-mi). As long as the shield gives those types of guns enough time to get a 2nd shot ready (and aimed directly at someone's head), it'll be way too strong on those characters...But if you nerf it so much that it can't even do that, then it'll just be useless. The shield enables Hard-hitting Single-shot weapons by letting them have all the pros (massive damage) with none of the cons (The time window the other player gets to hit you while you're stuck reloading/prepping a 2nd shot).

Totally agree with you that it makes the high damage single shot weapons way better, and I'm also not sure the ability to just have instant cover on demand (even if it only absorbs 1 hit) can be balanced but I'd like to see them try more than just changing the HP and Recharge numbers. And maybe that's the niche shield should fill and we should be asking for gadgets that cover other weapon types weaknesses similarly 🤷‍♂️
