In this video I show the contents of my bug out bag. The main objective is to cover shelter, fire, water, and food and multiple ways to aquire. if you have any ideas, questions or want to see any of this equipment in action let me know in the comments. Everyone has their own needs and ideas of what's desired in a B.O.B. this is only what I feel like will keep me and my family alive and safe long enough to acquire more resources. Hope this helps someone just getting started to get some ideas.
You might notice multiple canisters and cooking methods, I have a family of 5 to keep up, which requires extra items. Some of this payload can be shared with other family members, or ditched if not needed.

👍👍👍 Your BOB bag will get the job done! You could trade out the can opener for a P38, P58 or a swiss Army knife with can opener to reduce weight. The E-Tool is a priceless tool! I carry a bag of beef jerky and dried fruits & nuts for no cook food options on the go. I also carry a couple 55 gal contractor trash bags and a 4x6 tarp for shelter or ground cover with me. Keep up the good work!

I would reduce the amount of cooking gear. Canteen liner will suffice to cook. I also see a lot of survival bags carrying some sort of mini cooking stove. I carry a 8" x 8" small mesh grill and some folded tin foil to cook on an open fire. I know everyone has their own system but it is always good to review other ideas. Maybe a small tarp for shelter and sleeping bag/bivy. Thanks for sharing.

if you want to make it lighter, you could go for some titanium options for the cooking pots and replace that big can opener for a P38 can opener. Also a multitool would be a nice addition
@TRoysAdventures

Good point about the Titanium. I've already purchased a pot, love it! Thanks for the advice, I've removed the can opener anyway, I don't use it. Thanks!

Might throw in some energy bars. Could you put a small tarp on the bottom of the bag? Shelter plus insulation from ground. Hand and foot warmers would be good to have as well.
