I leave in Chile, most beautiful landscapes of the world. 😊 My appreciation is that you are giving the Buhanka a funny review but it does not make justice to it. At January this year (just before the war started 🤷‍♀) a friend of mine and I ( both are tough women jaja) decided to buy together the russians vehicles. Mostly for the price and 4x4 features. She bought a new UAZ Buhanka and I bought the UAZ Hunter. Her´s look exactly like yours... but new. The 2022 looks does not change much. Thats the beauty of this cars. You feel your self at the sixties. 😉 Sorry to tell this but the one that you have is really old or poorly mantained. People might think the Buhanka is a peace of junk and nothing far than that and .. yes... is a basic mechanical vehicle, almost nothing electrical, but Is very soft to drive, nothing like a tractor jajaja!!! Has a gentle driving and the most important thing why I bought my Hunter, you can use common spare parts if you don´t find the original ones. At this times with the recession entering all the countrys like a storm you do not know how will be the situation next year to repair vehicles if you need to. At least my Hunter, and as my friend tells me, the Buhanka too, are beasts to bad roads, you can drive them anywhere. They are made to drive in Siberia with 40 degrees celcius under 0. Other good thing of this vehicles is that they all have heated seats and... this I found awsome and strange for a so mechanical vehicle, they have and SOS gps system you can activate if you get lost in the middle of nowhere. Again.. they are made for russian whether and location. Im happy with my 4x4 UAZ Hunter. I give you a hug from the south of the south.

I was watching a couple of Buhanka videos. One was in Irkutsk during a -50C winter. Guess what was the only vehicle that was driving around. In Kyrgyzstan there’s a park where you have to go up in Buhankas because they are the only vehicles that will survive the trip. They are deliberately not improving the roads so that the parks don’t get ruined by the tourists.

I really enjoyed this episode, the breadloaf is always good fun. 😁 But yes, getting lockers not only let you go over more difficult stuff, it also lets you go over stuff at a slower speed, which makes the car more manageable, which means less chance of breaking a thumb. Though, I would probably add some form of power steering anyways - Just to save the thumbs! Save the thumbs, save André !! 😄

And the technical upgrades speak himself, 2,5 inch lift kit with springs (RIF produced, near RANCHO), steering damper and a 2 inch body lift kit and 245/75R16 BF Goodrich tires...and few more parts needed at the outback.... I bought a wrangler brand new in 1990. Put a four inch lift with 33’s front air locker and a lock right in the rear. I had more fun with that jeep than any other vehicle I have ever had. Sold it in 2005. I regret that decision more every year. That van is very cool reminds me of the jeep forward control pickups.

Actually saw a group of three Buchankas in Austria yesterday going up Fernpass, and another new one on a trailer close to Munich some weeks back, so there's a lot of them around seemingly. It's funny 'cos I pre-ordered an X-Bus which looks like a tiny electric copy of the UAZ-452.

A lot of fun to watch, reminds me of the vans in lost and the dharma initiative and the way they flew them around off road.

Its made for work - for small transports on countryside by bad or missing roads. And - important second thing - for easy repair by non- or semi-professionals in simple garages with limithed amount of tools.

Andre says his Buhanka is "Soviet Era" however it was made in 1992 which was a year after the fall of the Soviet Union, Ironically Mr. Truck's Wrangler was made during the Soviet Era because it was made in 1987. I get what point Andre was trying to make, it's just an interesting detail.

No shortage of jocularity here. Great to to see Mr. T joining Andre again on an adventure. And it was great to see the Buhanka not only reach that hill this time, but climb it as well. Albeit a bit scary as F for Andre. lol Great content.

Mr. Truck. I have dealt with very similar “exterior dimensions” as you. The Wrangler seats can be adapted to give some more backward travel by a commonly found bracket, or by doing some creative redrilling of the seat mounts. Take a few minutes and, believe me, you’ll be much happier in that driver’s seat.

Hello thanks for your videos. I have a great doubt I am looking for a RAM 5500 HEAVY DUTY TRADESMAN 2021 to make Hotshot. What should I do to have a good weight combination between the truck and the trailer? To reach 40,000. Is the 4.89 gear better than the 4.44 for this type of work?
