18:48 if you’re running the engine on land with out water going into it your gonna burn it up please don’t do that I can’t really tell if you have water running into it but if you don’t , don’t do that you can seriously harm the engine overall though it’s a very nice diy build .

Maybe it's possible using flapping foils instead of a propeller, it seems very efficient and could be powered by a small solar panel. The foil could be made from the same material as the boat but the mechanism, foil shape, type of movement, orientation... is very hard to get right. Also maybe the material for the thicker section of the foil may have to be different from the thinner section, and it may need a lot of tweaks to tolerate the stress over it.

@@hamzahibnu9696 its true, watercooled outboard engines use an impeller from rubber to pump water to cool the engine, and this 5hp engine is watercooled, the impeller uses water as lubrication, like engine oil for your engine.
