Sorry to disappointing you but that's his living room and not his garage hence at the tiles floor ,99% of aseans houses are not design with a garage because most of them don't own a car and living space is a premium .

In Korea they had these 2 wheel tractors that were used in the rice paddies in place of the historically used water buffalo's.....these 2 wheel tractors had a large headlight for night farming and they had an attaching trailer where the owner could set on a seat instead of walking behind them...The Koreans could load up their whole families and go to town so the farmers used these as their transportation also...our nickname for them was the "One Eyed Buffalo"....very efficient and multi purpose! Your build would be a ringer if it had one headlight...then you could nickname it the "One Eyed Buffalo"....great build!

This is really great! Many years ago I built my own motorcycle from parts. It took me, because of issues with finance and availability of some parts about two-years. But this is incredible! This builder is a true engineer adept in vocations normally outside of building the vehicle. I have some questions but for the most part I’m just in awe of this video, Great job!

True They are used in rice patties to cultivate the fields. They also include a trailer for hauling people and goods around the community. I live in the Philippines and see them in different areas of the country. The tractor is like rototiller used in a garden to cultivate the soil. The part I do not like about them is when you have to turn a corner, you have to jump off of the tractor and swing the front wheels into the direction you have to turn. A steering wheel is so much nicer to operate.

There are plenty of kits you can buy shipped to you. It'd still be a better idea to form a kit yourself. Not hard to source parts, just keep track of dimensions.

If this were 1980 that statement would carry some merit. But with the internet, youtube, ebay and amazon by the end on the day you could know how to do this and have everything on order. I do stuff like this all the time. Good luck buddy.

Really nice rig. I really enjoyed the video and build. . I only see 2 problems. I think it's going to be too high geared when loaded for a hill of any size. Then the rear suspension looks max travel already before any load. But both of those things can be worked out pretty easy if they give you problems. Thanks for showing this great content!

I love these things. They're everywhere in rural South East Asia and are really practical for the farmers. This would make a great project for high school students to make as well. Awesome job and kudos to the camera person for the moving shots. My brothers in Vietnam doing it well once again. Cheers!

Great project, very clean work. You certainly know your way around small engines, welding and fabrication, it’s impressive! (My only concern is have you thought about maybe getting a pair of steel toe flip flops? I’d be nervous about hurting my feet working like that.) Stay safe, stay healthy and most of all, stay busy! You’ve made a sub out of me... 👍🏼👍🏼 from this guy!

@Quirin -Appears to be a centrifugal clutch with with steel dogs, the ratio changing as demand, load and rpm fluctuates. Cushman and other popular scooters used more than one type, some belts, with others chain drive. Flogging them endlessly and they lasted countless years, with kids putting them through every imaginable abuse, like kids are prone to do. ;
