Күн бұрынBuild Your Own Easel! Ever wonder how to make a wooden easel? In this video I show you step by step how to make an easel for just $22. This DIY easel build is very simple and beginner friendly. I needed to build an easel for displaying graphics in my KZfaq videos but his easel can be used as an artists easel or an easel to display artwork. follow along as I show all of the parts I use and the method I used for building an easel out of wood!
Project parts List:
2- 1 in.x 2in. x 6ft. select Pine board
1 - 1 in x 2 in. X 8ft. select Fine board
1 - 5/16 bolt 2.5 in.
2 - 5/16 washers
1 - 5/16 nylon nut
1 - 24 in. #14 black chain
6- 1 in. drywall screws

Watched this video after creating my own easel because I wanted to see options to improve upon my own design. It looks like our approach was fairly similar. Great job! Some improvement ideas. Screw the drywall screws from the back on the cross peace for a cleaner look. I also cut an angle on the center pole so that it doesnt protrude in the front if the item being displayed/created reached the top. 🛠🪚
