Love your tutorials and cameraman's graphics are always awesome! Miss seeing you interacting with clients. I did the icicle nails and used mermaid chrome under the nails and it looked great giving them a nice shimmer. Thanks both for all your hard work. Happy holidays!

I am an amateur having fun and when I did icicle nails it was so much fun!! I used poly gel under a full cover long coffin tip, did an ombre just to the free edge. Then when I had them on I decided to use gel nail 6-1 glue. It is a thicker viscosity. Used that with the plastic wrap. It looks like icicles and is encapsulated!! So much fun!! Obviously I took no wipe top coat and put in on top of where I had used to 6-1 gel glue to cover the inhibition layer. Very thin not too disrupt the icicle design. Thank you Suzie for the great videos always!!!

Stunning as ALWAYS! 👏🏽 Cameraman and Suzie are the absolute best. BUT HEAR ME OUT: 🎄 "Christmas light nails!" 🎄💡 Each nail being a different color and looking like a light on a string of of lights! Maybe an almond-like shape, and the at the base, near the cuticle, having the little base where the "light" screws in! If ANYONE could do this, it's DEFINITELY Suzie! 💯 I would LOVE to see her try this!

These are absolutely beautiful! I love learning from your videos, you do such an amazing job explaining everything. I've only ever worked with nail polish, especially in the past when products like acrylics and gels could only be purchased by nail techs. I finally have a ton of nail products to work with so I'll be trying out doing tons of fun things like this! Hopefully in the near future I'll be going for a nail tech license, I've always loved nails! Very thankful for your videos! ❤

I love icicle nails toys time of year! If you want them smooth on top, use a chrome powder (aurora, holo, and silver chrome look most icy) to stick to the high peaks first and then fill in all the nooks and crannies with gel. File and buff smooth. Then the nails won't be catching on everything but you still have that icicle effect.

You could even do a mat top coat on them and they’d look frosted. Some icicles aren’t clear right. We all know how you’ve been loving the mat lately

Hi Susie and cameraman! I love your work so much! I’m a new nail tech and I would love to see a video on how you clean and sanitize all your tools (seeing the glitter in the brush was too relatable and reminded me of cleaning/sanitizing). That is a topic more tailored for nail techs only so I see why you may not have done that (at least I haven’t seen one on your channel yet) anyways I love watching everything you do, the art and creativity is amazing ❤

After watching all of these nail videos I am really considering getting into nail design. I am terrible with hair and makeup can barely do my own but have always loved nails and the beautiful artistry that goes into them. Also I am slightly OCD so I know I would be good with the tediousness of it. My only downfall is I hate filing. The sound of it makes me cringe and actually doing it myself feels like nails on a chalkboard. If I could just get around that I think I would be okay lol. Can anyone recommend the best way to get started if you are considering a career change? Any schools or programs or information on how to get licenses and certifications? Of course I know it takes years and years of practice and patience to get to this level. I am 35 and tired of jumping job to job just to pay bills in which I am never really happy. I would really love to start a career and make something of myself that I know will last (as its always in need!) , has some flexibility for my kids and longevity. And something I enjoy that I could see myself doing forever! Thank you!

There’s a way to do these in a wearable style! However the effect can only be done on the free edge portion of the nail. You just do clear nails and apply the technique to the underside.

For these I think maybe some cleaner lines on the sides would have been good and maybe some thin bluish or silverish polish.

Gnarled and unpractical but i like the effort I would say to put a tint or mix color with hard Gel to fill the voids to define the actual facets otherwise you are just putting a bunch of crinkled gel on a nail and expect it to not break is a really tricky thing to do
