This is great….I was hoping to see a image in the side bar…..and more function to the upload … like drag and drop…? Maybe. Can ya please show us how to do that?

Hi I’m glad that you liked it . I’m pretty sure the st.file_upload syntax allows drag and drop . Ofcourse you can add image to the sidebar , use , with st.sidebar: st.image(‘something.ping’)

Hi Felipe , I’m glad that the video came helpful . Yes , it is possible to store user information , using streamlit function called session state . Otherwise, you can use Streamlit components, such as hydralit or few others , which will serve the purpose. Let me know how it goes . Stay in touch :)

Hey bro! Very good video, great content, congratulations! I'm making a Web App with authentication, where after the login is performed some buttons appear on the screen, but when pressing any of these buttons they disappear, as if the person was no longer logged in. Can you help me? Thanks!

Thanks for checking with your issue. From what I understand, this is mainly because of the Streamlits default workflow ( top to bottom ) . You need to keep the buttons state in active - you can use session state for that or just replace button with a checkbox . ( detail tutorial video here - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mraUdZqr3q3YpJs.html )

In this video, it was a work around, using the st.checkbox. So if the checkbox is False, it is automatically logged out. to be honest, it's not the ideal workaround, I would like to implement, so ideally you can use streamlit session state on the login button to log in and log out . This video can help you to implement that - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mraUdZqr3q3YpJs.html Otherwise implementing a streamlit component , called streamlit authenticator might help (github.com/mkhorasani/Streamlit-Authenticator). Im plannig to make a video on it .
