This video will show you how to make an earthquake working model which combines a shake table and earthquake proof structures from simple materials, micro:bit and BOSON modules.
The model simulates ground motion during earthquake, it also allows you to change the frequency using a rotation sensor. With a micro:bit, you can easily measure the movement of buildings by reading the acceleration data, then visualize and compare them via Mind+. The video provides you several ideas on earthquake-proof structures, but you can always create your own buildings and test how stable they are!
