Surprisingly, the audio wasn't that bad. Have heard a lot worse on other peoples videos. Looks fantastic. Great job.

Considering how expensive this model kit is, the seam lines/joints in some areas for example the exhausts are appalling!

I'm building it currently, and agree entirely. Im going to strip, assemble, fill, sand etc. 'the exhausts then paint them. Tamiya x-31 Titan Gold & X-11 Chrome Silver ratio 5:1 is pretty much an identical match for the prepainted parts.

Hi Wayne. Loving this build, as always (I watch all your videos). This weekend, I'm about to start building one of the cars (one you're not doing, the Ford GT) and then I'll do the Eleanor. I was just about to head to your Amazon store to get some tools and stuff but I've noticed you've started using a different glue on this one. Is there any reason for that? I've never used glue on previous kits (only done the R2D2 before) so I was wondering which you'd recommend if I was to only get one? Thanks

It because the parts are really light plastic. I though superglue would be a bit over kill

What glue exactly are you using? And when you put it on the outside of the exhaust, does the remaining glue not destroy the surface?

The glue on the exhaust is cement based and doesn’t mark the paint at all. It’s Tamiya quick drying cement

This in no way is a criticism of your talents Wayne as your work tends to be extremely good but I'm disappointed with the gaps on the build so far, I am expecting it to be of a higher quality than the "magazine" builds you feature on the channel but so far I would say the other projects are going together much cleaner. It has plenty of detail but the way the engine block came together along with the resonators for the exhaust was quite gappy. As I said it's zero to do with your building ability it's 100% the product. Or am I being too critical as it was only £700+? 🤔

@World of Wayne I'm glad they are hidden but knowing what you are like regarding gaps and light bleed etc your OCD must be in overdrive knowing the gaps are there though.

@@WorldofWayneUK I have the aftermarket 'Build' DVD...Trust me there are many many issues with this kit. I paid $1150 NZ.....I just keep thinking what Tamiya would have created for that price.

@@ekspatriat agree wholeheartedly. Several issue with my build, ie comically obvious gaps, esp in engine block, loose fits in screw joins, awful gaps in exhaust seams - necessitating a fill strip down, assemble, sand, fill, repaint. Hope it ends up worth cost. Can only imagine what Tamiya could offer us for the same price . . .

re- hello wayne ,have you heard about that: Paul Koo Hardware Kit for Pocher 1/4 motorcycle kit HK107 Ducati 1299 Panigale S it seems to be much better than those ugly screws, if i have to make this model i didnt hestate to change them, i don't understand why they didnt do it in the kit as in the yamaha. cdlt. Marc
