Күн бұрынI built a fully autonomous talking robot by connecting a Raspberry Pi 4B to ChatGPT 4o, and he’s definitely developed a big personality.
Here's a deeper dive into the various hardware components:
Hiwonder.com - "MasterPi" chassis and arm, also the aux 7.3v house power supply
Adafruit.com - USB mic and speaker
Amazon.com - Extra wire, wire ties, heat shrink tubing, DIP switch to disable the cooling fan when we're recording video, etc
Remember that none of Floyd’s responses are scripted - I basically have no idea what he’s going to say or do 0-0

Awesome! I use an AI (ChatGPT) to write most of Floyd's code, but I still have to design it. I do have some ideas about allowing him to retain more long-term memories, like facts from our conversation or information about the user, but I do feel like it could start to get weird as he develops more knowledge about me or about his surroundings...
