However, the main drawback of 2K lacquer is contamination by silicone particles, grease and dirt present in the environment, which react very negatively with the product and usually produce a very common problem such as the dreaded craters, which are small dimples. that appear on the lacquered surface and are contaminated areas that repel lacquer. There is no solution to this problem, it cannot be corrected, and you will have to unpaint the entire model and start all the painting work over again, and if decals have also been applied to the model, they will also be damaged. Therefore, the time that you can spend sanding and polishing the GSI Creos varnishes will be time that you will save in trouble with the 2K lacquer. After all, the end result of your work is very similar to that achieved using 2K lacquer.
