Part 3 of the Turbo Yamaha R6.
I’m hoping to have the bike complete in the next couple months, and plan to take it to a mile event to see what the highest top speed I can get.
Hopefully I can take down the world record, which I believe currently is 209MPH.
I will be showing every step of the way toward reaching this goal.

I will most likely have to retrofit a bigger fuel pump, possibly injectors as well. But it will be music to my ears once it get started up for sure.

@@Outspokentiger can't wait to see bro. Edit-have you seen EDR performance they do some really nice things especially on the inside ? Do a lot of Yamaha's as well. They make a GSXR 792 that makes some crazy power.

That’s a really small turbo to push 250…. A few of my associates ride turbo bikes and one is a r6. He’s barely getting 200hp with a big ass comp turbo worth a great tune team.

It's enough dude , its only the clutch pads, if someone could coment about. Pretty good if was a stm clutch for much stronger grab, with 20/47 combination of gears

So you turbo an r6 to potentially make as much power as the zx14r (that you have) will make n/a and it’s the same amount of effort and money to finish. turbo r6 is gonna last a week at sub 200hp. And the 14r will be pretty much stock.... Do you boo. 🤣

Are you planning on stretching the swingarm for traction? Whatsoever this thing is going to be next level no one has ever seen and with 🐯 tune and tiger on it it will be surely unstoppable.

No sir, I have no desire to add a swingarm. If anything I will add a boost controller to help with traction/keeping the front end down.

I was talking to one of my homies about that haha, but not sure they both would fit. I did some rough measurements and it might work it would be a really really tight fit.

That comp turbo is way too big of exhaust side it will never spool. I would take my chances with the T15. Plus you won't have to find a place to mount an external wastegate.

The comp turbo is for my Mustang, I was just giving a comparison of the sizes of the turbos.

Hope you can sell turbo kit for r6 after this build I wanna turbo my r6 but i dont know the reliability after i put the turbo ..

If everything go well, then yeah I will put a kit together for other people who may want to do the same. On low boost it should be fine, I’m build my motor though since I’m trying squeeze as much power as I can out of the motor.
