Frl, I’ve seen many f30 builds but very few f32. Although there a very similar car the f32 seemed to handle better due to its wider track and more balanced weight. Sad to see it’s often slept on

It’s dope until ur engine blows like mine at 112k km😢 only had stage one tune, after market intake, lowering kit and diverter valve. Had it from 92k km. Next one I’m gettin is gonna be the 435 or 335. Too many horror stories about the n20 engine. Also costs 10,000$ to replace the engine with labour.

Build took about a year, can’t remember every single mod or even cost. Estimating ballpark of 15k in mods

Most was eBay, a lot of the carbon trims and floormats. The white interior was vinyl wrapped. The seats were Braum elite x

I wrapped over it without paint or primer. But I did sand it to help adhesion

about 30mins per panel. took about a week to complete. id say the heat gun is your best friend in allowing the vinyl to soften up and manuver, stretch it first over the panel which will help prevent bubbles. ofc prep surface with alcohol to remove oils

The 428 was the best I could afford at the time. But now picked up an m4 comp so another build coming soon

i had 2 wraps, first was vivid gloss white, 2nd was avery satin black. both were somewhat easy to use, avery was much thinner and more stretchy which was easier to install but was more prone to stretch marks, whereas vivid was slightly more difficult to work with but was thicker and withstands scratches a bit better

I would suggest getting from Keis, m4 style bumper for f32. and there’s nothing else you’d need only thing is to remove the foam brace in the front. If looking for the rear I got a oem m sport rear which was direct fitment

On steering wheel is perforated leather on side. Although I would of preferred nappa cuz it’s softer and also easier to clean. After a few weeks all the little holes get crusted up and need a deep clean

car was 27k after taxes and fees, mods around 10k

350 crank, wheel closer to 300. Intake, downpipes with straight pipe stage 2 on 93, occasional ethanol blend/map but on stock fuel lines and stock turbos on max PSI. Will say it was a bit sketchy of a setup maxing out on some stock components but nothing broke down or blew. It started struggling with traction on 265s all around so could never really launch it from a dig smoothly without the rear acting up. Eventually returned back to a conservative stage 1 and kept it mild b4 selling it.

Think you’ll be fine, your head might be close to the ceiling but it shouldn’t touch if u put the seat lower

I have a 2018 m240i and I’m 6’1 and I’m pretty close to touching the roof. If you can manage it, try to find one optioned without the sunroof, it will give you more head room.

Haven’t had any issues with it and car had 75,000 miles for a 2014. I do recommend upgrading intercooler since engine temps will quickly rise.

Don’t think it will do 350hp on stock turbo unfortunately. I’ve got mine fully dialed in with S63tu injectors and higher compression engine and it doesn’t go past 300hp. Turbo needs to be upgraded to a tte400 to get those numbers. She looks clean though!

It was a fully custom wheel I spoke with them for a while for what material and colors I wanted so maybe if ur going fully custom you’ll have more control on what exact u want. If it was well maintained and has service records. My 2014 428i I bought from Carvana with 62k miles and had like 5 owners and a ok record. But I never had any major issues with it and I sold it around 80k miles, new owner doesn’t have any major issues either. The only maintenance I did on it was oil changes every 3k miles, and a transmission flush around 70k. Other than that nothing went bad unless I broke it myself. One of the headlights had a malfunction after a heavy rain, assuming water leaked into the connections but then it started working again. Also it had the n26 SULEV motor which warranties from bmw until 150k miles so if you find a n26 rather than a n20 u should be good. Every car will have its quirks, when I first had it the trunk struts were going bad so the trunk would only lift like 1/2 way, the aux plug was faulty, but was able to get all that fixed fairly easily. The tpms wouldn’t read sometimes but that’s cuz I was using cheap aftermarket tpms sensors in the wheel

It sounds like a pretty fair trade idk what miles ur lookin at with the 328. But the n20/n26 platform is pretty reliable. Personally I haven’t exceeded 80k miles on mine. But I have friends that are driving up to 150k miles s without issues. Just requires some extra love when it comes to maintenance with higher milege but it’s a good car that holds up well and produces decent power. The only major things I’d focus on is doing oil changes frequency, I prefer 3/4k mile intervals, new spark plugs, gaskets cuz they tend to go bad, making sure u upgrade Chargepipe cuz that’s a weak point. Other than that’s there’s no many mechanical issues. Timing chain is another one that’s prone to going bad but once that’s fixed up it should be good
