Amazing project! I just prefer the first wheels much more

F80 owner here, I was thinking of increasing the power to 800, but given the fact that it looks nearly impossible to control even with the right tires, I'll choose to live.

Nice work. Been eyeing selling my 04 WRX STI and getting one of these. How is the reliability of the engine at that power? Did you have it pro tuned? I track my current car at Circuit of The Americas and looking for something with significant more power and capabilities. I get blasted by everything in the straights and would need to drop $10-$15k in a 20 yr old car to make the gains safely to get it where i want. Not sure i want to do that.

personally stock f80 wheels look so mf clean and would prefer them over a lot of other brand wheels. you probably did it for the weight reduction but idk🤷🏽‍♂️dope ass build tho

I've got a similar build F80 with about 700whp. I've been thinking of going with 18x11 Apex wheels to get a wide semi-slick with a tall sidewall (I see you guys got MT ET Street S/S) How much of a difference did it make? Right now my car barely exists in 1st and 2nd gear lol. I absolutely love the look of my 666Ms, but I hate getting beat in mini street races by cars with half as much power as mine.

So you have to upgrade the turbos to get the turbo whistle? Also I didn’t see any fuel upgrades or cooling upgrades. is it really 800hp? I don’t want to go really crazy on the m4 but I do want to get pure turbos and other minor upgrades like charge pipes, downpipe, full exhaust, intake and that’s it. I want to stay on pump gas, I don’t track just streets.

I have a 2018 F80 Competition in Black with full factory Carbon Fibre kit and interior.. with MPerformance Alcantara wheel with racing display. I have 20" Titan 7 rims. No criticism of you wanting to mod your car and I truly admire the effort you have put in. The results overall show very clearly. I do think you have taken a step backwards with the rims as far as the overall look goes IMHO - but each to their own. I am also concerned about the increased power impact on the engine. I note you run the 6 speed manual so you may not have the issue with the spun crank hub that has been talked about in Forums... If people want to see my car, search "iflowboy" or "wharped drive" on KZfaq. Not trying to steal Tat's thunder..as he has done an amazing job... just offering a comparison in the aesthetics.........note that mine is in Australia so it is right hand drive... also a lot more expensive in Australia to buy...i.e $165K AUD... do the math on conversion to $USD and you'll see what I mean.
